We were at campsite number 39 and it was beautiful. We were in loop D. My only complaint is nowhere. Was it posted that the closest bathroom was closed. The sign said closed for renovations, and I imagine it was being performed during the off-season. But, those of us who visited during the off-season were quite far from a bathroom. Fortunately, we bring our bikes, but in the middle of the night this was not too good as I used the car and probably woke some people up when I drove to the bathroom.

I love Zion and Watchman is a nice convenient campground as you can walk to the Visitors Center and Shuttle Busses.
My complaint and the reason I didn't rate my experience higher is that we were there for four days and had to move to a different campsite each night. We are tent campers so this was a big pain. Plus you need to check out of the campsite you are in by 11:00 and if the one you are moving to is slow to move out you have to wait around till you can move. This can kill much of your day. I saw a number of sites that didn't have anyone in them and I think the reason for that is if you decide to cancel your reservation you only get $1.50 credit back. There is no incentive to spend your time to cancel and I think this needs to be changed. Even if it were $5.00, that would at least be something.

Loop D was grassy (in early May), well spaced and quiet, close to Visitor Center and shuttle busses

Amazing place to stay if you are going to Zion. The shuttles are right across the street at the visitors center so you don’t have to fight the crowds for parking.
