Restrooms were well-maintained and the maps were updated with seasonal closures. All camping spots were clearly marked. Quiet hours were not enforced.

Great location, great experience. Even during the shutdown that had zero positive benefit to us Joe plumbers.

Camp hosts are very helpful. Location in the park and access to visitors center, shuttle bus, and the town make this campground the perfect base camp for your Zion visit.

The campground and facilities are very well maintained. The sites are a good size and are laid out well. The location is perfect- just a short walk to the shuttle. Don't plan to drive stakes into the ground as it is too rocky for that. Also know that it gets very windy at night, but the views are absolutely gorgeous. I highly recommend the campground and would stay there again.

Watchman campground was fantastic. The views were great, the campsite was clean and large enough for 6 of us, and the facilities were nice and close by. Would definitely visit again!

This campsite has stunning views and access to incredible trails. I would recommend calling the Rangers about the status of various facilities before choosing your campsite. We selected our site based on proximity to one of the bathroom facilities that turned out to be closed and electrical service that was not working. We would have packed differently and chosen a different site. Call Ahead. If you visit during winter, get to the Scenic Route EARLY because it will close when all the parking spaces are full. Quite a few visitors just assumed they would have access on demand and spent most of the day in a queue waiting to get in. The Rangers did a fantastic job managing the flow of visitors in and out of the parking spaces, but the demand vastly exceeded the supply. Summer rules require everyone to ride the buses, so it is not an issue during that season.Great Campsite with proximity to a National Treasure. We would highly recommend it.

this campsite is fully exposed during the day with no shade. very hot! but, convenient for stargazing. bathrooms were fairly well maintained with nice sinks outside. no showers, which was a disappointment but you can pay to shower at a privately owned business within walking distance to the campground. dead and dry tall grass throughout the campground currently. the grass went all the way up to and into the fire pit.

Great site close to the facilities. One of the quietest campgrounds I have visited. Even though every site was full you would not have known that. No loud generators just blissful nature. I would definitely recommend to others. Thank you for a wonderful visit.

The sites were very nice. Spacious enough for 2 large tents. Our site described partial shade (D4) but when we arrived around 3pm it was so hot we could barely set up and there was zero shade. It was unbearable. An EZ up tent would have been nice to have. The restrooms were clean and its a short walk to some paid showers. There is a brewery and shops a short walk away. The town of Springdale has lots of amenities too. We will be back again.

Watchman was always a favorite of mine 15 years ago before the crowds became a problem. Luckily I spent very little time in the canyon itself and hiked the less crowded West Rim Trail in a day. Sadly, it was tough coming back into Scouts with all the people! UGH!

We camped at Fruita CG for 4 nights in April. It was quite cold and very windy most nights but the days were lovely. The CG is well laid out, quiet and surrounded by orchards. The cottonwoods and orchards are a big plus for us. They bring some greenery in contrast to the bluffs and mesas. We did 2 fantastic hikes- Golden Throne and the Cohab/Frying Pan/Cassidy Arch trails. The park staff are friendly and very helpful. Bathrooms are clean and heated but no hot water. We love CR and plan to stay longer next time

As budgets are (at least partially) restored, it would be nice to see park employees. Other than the "toll-taker" and the person checking our reservation and id, we did not see an actual National Park employee.
The concession and shuttle staff were pleasant and efficient, as was the campground host.
Thanks for a very good stay.

This campsite was a great experience! You are in the park with full Zion views at all times and so close to the park shuttle. You are walking distance to the town outside the park with restaurants, shopping, rental, etc. The bathrooms stay clean and the noice stays pretty quiet. You will see plenty of deer running through the campsite.

The setting of this campground is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen under the beautiful orange rock canyons of Zion. It was also so convenient to be able to causally wander over to the shuttle into the park. A truly magical experience!
