SIte was labeled even though we had to do self-check in. Campground and facilities were clean. Thanks for letting us wake up next to the beautiful mountains.

Large, but quiet campground with beautiful views everywhere you look. The bus system that takes you into the canyon works well but it is crowded, so its a good idea to start early. The visitor center is within walking distance of the campground. Just outside the park ,also within walking distance, there is a grocery store, rental store, pay showers and a great brew pub.

A few people were loud late into the night one night and one of the dish washing sinks was clogged.Other than that everything was perfect.

Nice big spot, staff was great. It was quit at night and deer came crossing through our site. Couldn't ask for anything better. Bathrooms were clean also.

This was a beautiful campground with scenic views to wake up to. I enjoyed that the bathrooms were heated since it was cold in the mornings and at night. The only thing I would have liked is to have water spigots closer to the campsite. The only water source we found was the outdoor sink in the bathroom building.

Campsites available in the shade during the afternoon. No showers. Bathrooms do not have lights at night so make sure to bring one!

This is a wonderful campground with views of the surrounding red cliffs. Most sites have some shade.

Watchman campground is a great staging area for Zion. Since the river touches the town of Springdale, we appreciated having a spot on the outside of a loop, furthest away from the river. This made our site as quiet as possible. Zion Canyon is epically beautiful, but also super busy. We spent some time over in Kolob Canyon, and hiking from the Wildcat Canyon down into Zion Canyon. Both of these experiences were great ways to get away from humans. Finally, if you are planning to go into Zion Canyon, make sure you are super quick in getting shuttle tickets. Shuttle tickets were all gone within 2 minutes of opening up on the day that we wanted to acquire them.
