Awesome views, solid campground. Weird guy near us started yelling profanities at a family for talking at 9:30pm even though quiet hours were at 10 so that was uncomfortable

Vinimos en Julio, hacia un poco de calor y la mayoria de los sitios solo estan parcialmente sombreados, sin embargo llego la lluvia y refresco todo. Hicimos varias caminatas y todo estuvo muy bien. Regresaria sin duda

So hard to get reservations so do it early. It's very nice to set up camp and leave your car to catch the shuttle from the visitor center to the canyon hike spots, and the other shuttle up and down through Springdale for shopping and dining.

Lovely campground in the heart of Zion. Spaces were spread out with considerable tree cover- although shade wasnt what we needed in January. Clean restrooms.

We tried to beat the extreme summer heat by taking our kids out of school early and getting there by June 1st. God laughed at our plans and it hit 100 degrees each day. If I were to go again, I would definitely go a different month. However, despite the heat, it was an extremely nice campground. I don't usually like to camp in campgrounds because of the noise. I figured, because the campsites are so close to each other, it would be hard to sleep. This was not the case. Watchman Campground was one of the quietest campgrounds I have been to. And we were there on a weekend! We loved the convenience of the campground to the shuttle stop and the town of Springdale. I would definitely stay here again, but during a different month.

Beautiful campground! Campground is easy access to visitor center and the bridge to town. Really loved that I could easily walk across the bridge and get dinner and groceries!

Nice campground, good location. Wish it had a shower and laundry facility. The campsite itself was okay. I didn’t like that it had gravel. Putting stakes down was very hard and it got super windy every night so it was important to do it properly. Could walk to a section of the Virgin River to cool down. Or even cross the river into Springdale that has an air-conditioned coffee shop and charging stations. We there in early July with daytime temps in the 100’s. Nighttime temps were good for sleeping.

This was a terrific campground with easy walking access to the visitor center, park shuttle, and even the pedestrian bridge into the nearby town of Springdale. The bathrooms are clean and close by, the sites have nice tent pads, and the loop was quiet. Don't leave your food out, as the deer will swarm your site -- they aren't shy!

Good campground at the entrance to Zion NP. Make reservations early as this park has limited campsites.

I know it says this in the site description....but boy is there no shade...and boy was it 105 degrees! Most things in our car melted, so beware if you are coming in the summer! Seems like there is a culture among campers of staying up very late partying? Also of brazenly having campfires even though there are warnings everywhere banning them. Would have loved some more proactive interventions on the part of the camp hosts, who seemed consistently absent.

First time I've been able to get a reservation on the river. B-52I love the Watchman campground because of the beauty and space between sites. Although, it was unfortunate that our closest restroom was closed, so it was a long walk in the middle of the night...

I was lucky to get the location, but I did book the site as soon as the six month window started. Restrooms were clean and the few trees in the area provide a bit of shade. Loved having cellphone signal. Beware the very aggressive squirrels and guard your items on picnic benches. Overall great experience!

This is such a beautiful campground and the scenery is incredible. Zion Canyon Village is a (very) short walk and is great for getting coffee, food, a shower, and pretty much anything else (if you like that glamping sort of thing). The proximity to the Zion shuttle is also very convenient. The sites are spaced out nicely and there is a lot of wildlife - sometimes too much. Little blue tent caterpillars are EVERYWHERE and they will climb all over your tent, but that's just part of being outside and enjoying nature. There were a few annoying loud groups, but for the most part they were respectful of quiet hours. Overall its hard not to have a good time in such a beautiful location.

The campgrounds and facilities were nice, however, the reservation system in-place is terrible. According to the system every single campsite was reserved yet over HALF were empty at 7pm the night of. So many people are turned away that are at the park that lost wonderful campsites to people reserving 6 months in advance and never show.

We enjoyed hiking the Narrows and Angel's Landing. The wind made it dusty, so bring allergies meds if you got em

Beautiful campground. The walk-to campground is especially beautiful. Bathrooms were very clean. Extremely convenient location right next to the visitor center.
