It is a pretty campground even though we were really cold in our tent.

Campground was a quick walk to the visitors center and shuttles. Left my vehicle at the campground while we hiked for the day. Perfect solution to parking problems at the visitor center lots.

One of our favorite spots in the campground. Pros: lots of space and a wonderful, unimpeded view of the Watchman. Cons: longer walk to the visitors center and located close to the group campground (noise has never been a big issue though). Overall, this is a great spot!

Location: Watchman CampgroundHighlights:Spacious Sites: The campground offers large, well-spaced sites, providing plenty of room for tents and RVs.Natural Beauty: The sites are surrounded by trees, offering a pleasant and shaded environment.Convenient Access: It's just a short walk to the visitor center and water sources, making it easy to access essential amenities.Bathroom Facilities:Best in the System: The bathrooms are considered the best among Utah national parks.Clean and Well-Maintained: The restrooms are kept very clean, with plenty of toilet paper.Flushable Toilets: Modern facilities with flushable toilets.Sinks Available: Sinks are available for handwashing and other needs.Accessible and Private Options: There is a private bathroom for handicapped visitors, which can also be used for those seeking extra privacy.Additional Amenities:Hot Summers: Be prepared for very hot temperatures in the summer months.Trash and Recycling: Trash dumpsters and recycling bins are available but require a bit of a walk from the tent sites.Overall: This campground is a fantastic choice for those visiting Utah's national parks, offering large, shaded sites, top-notch bathroom facilities, and convenient access to the visitor center. Just be mindful of the heat in the summer and the walk to the trash and recycling bins.

Amazing spot. Had a wonderful experience and woke up to deer nearly every morning! Perfect amount of shade and great distance to bathroom / dumpsters

Amazing site in an amazing campground. The views are incredible, and the restrooms are cleaned every single morning. This site is right behind the group sites, but noise was never as issue. Highly recommend!

Excellent site with amazing sunrise views. Needed to go all the way to the visitor center for drinking water though.

Beautiful, clean and fairly quiet. Close to restaurants and shops as well as some great hiking

much better an experience than over 20 years ago.There is water, and even drinking water. The restrooms are clean, and warm.

Park Rangers and camp host did a very poor job of controlling quite time after 10PM. Basically they did nothing about quite time after 10PM other campers had to get up and tell the nosey campers to quiet down. Group camping was allowed to sing (30-40 people) at the top of their lungs well into the night, one night up until midnight. Bathrooms out of toilet paper, kids bathing in the wash sink used for your dishes. Dirty campsite left to us. Had to fight off wasps (20-30 each) while we cooked and eat every meal, roaches everywhere. Scrubbed the table 3 times but was still dirty and attacking bugs. I felt like I was at a poorly run state park back in Texas. Besides the camp site being poorly run the park is amazing. One of the best NP out there just stay somewhere besides Watchmen. Must do the Narrows it was life changing and get some e-bikes so much fun.

Love hanging out under the Watchman! You cant go wrong with sites in this campground, but we enjoy loops C and D the best.

Beautiful campground complete with amenities. I did not really enjoy my experience as many did not respect the quiet hours. The place was too loud and had too many lights on to enjoy the night.

It takes planning to get a campsite. Unable to get shuttle tix which degraded our experience greatly. Should be included with campsite reservation.

No shower facility.Restrooms are closed in my area and there were two honey pots.Weather in August was very hot even at midnight. I couldn't sleep until 2 am.Gravel pad under tent was the best of my life. :) Very flat and no sharp thing annoyed my knees.
@SusanC3925585 · Camped on Aug 2, 2020 at Campsite #D19
very nice experience. Spaces relatively close compared to other campgrounds but did not detract from experience! Hosts were very kind and helpful! Thank you! Remember to keep food away from tables/outside. Deer were right at site and some people left food out so other campers had to attend to try and mitigate.
