Zion was a really nice weekend getaway for us, who lives in Las Vegas. The campsite was slightly uneven but it was good even during rainy season because of the rocks. It is close to the group campsite which absolutely BS depending on how loud they can be. For us, even at midnight the groupsite still trying to pull up their tent. So just be mindful of that. It is close to a restroom thats a plus. You'll get a nice view of the mountains.

The campsite was clean and well maintained.

The sites are nicely spaced, although many seemed seldom used and quite overgrown. I guess that's good for wildlife, but not very welcoming to campers. Stargazing was great and other campers seemed well behaved. The showers were surprisingly large. The facilities were pleasantly clean and functional, although toilet paper was missing in one. The price for a primitive tent campsite was higher than any I've paid before.

Great location. Easy walk to NP visitor center to catch the shuttle into the park. You can also walk to the Springdale side to catch the local shuttle into town and/or for shower facilities at Zion Outfitter.

The site and the restrooms are very clean. The location to the gate and visitor center made it easy to get around the park.

The campground was convenient to all activities. Great mountain backgrounds and saw deer every day. The parking lot at the visitors center is always packed even in March so the campground is your best parking spot.

Would choose another site next time we camp at Zion NP. Loud neighbors in group site kept us up all four nights we were there. Quiet hours were not enforced. Nice site with good view of The Watchman, just be aware it's right next to a group site

Great camping spot, on this particular camping trip, the restrooms were not attentive as my usual visits. Amazing views to camp.

This campground was at a perfect location to explore Zion NP, since it was a short walk to the park shuttle and also walking distance to the Brew Pub and camp store. The site I had was a bit sunny, but other spots did have some shade. It also did get a bit noisy since my site was close to the big group site. It was a beautiful area and I would go back again.

The campground should be 5 stars. Beautiful site and lots of great nature and hiking.

We had a bad experience with one of the hosts. Our first night we were admittedly a bit loud, but were all in bed for sure by 1030, missing quiet hours probably by 20-30 minutes. No music, just laughing and drinking. The next evening a host came by and told us they had some noise complaints. We apologized and assured her we wouldn’t cause anymore trouble. We didn’t argue. After we apologized she sort of threatened us with law enforcement if there were any more problems, said she didn’t believe us on how late we stayed up.

Later that evening some park rangers came by with their lights on while we were sitting by the fire just chatting to give us a warning. Seemed over the top and could have been handled a lot better.

can't bit the location and sites are not close to each other. can do the watchman trail straight from your campsite without dealing with parking or shuttling which is a big plus. you cant go wrong with the cost for its location as long as you you can manage to book one.

I visited this site in the middle of November and the place was great! Right amount of people at the park and the campgrounds and still warm enough to go on any hike you wish to go on.

Beautiful campground. Well organized. Short walks are available right from your site.

Great campground although I had some noisy neighbors who played loud music making it hard to sleep. Unfortunately this isn’t just at this campground so I guess it’s the new norm.
The good thing is the sites aren’t crowded on top of each other which is very nice!!

This is an amazing camp ground with excellent clean bathrooms and water access close in multiple locations on the grounds. Another great perk is its in walking distance of a brewery that had some delicious elks burgers to recharge after a long day hiking.
@RoryL859 · Camped on Jun 4, 2021 at Campsite #D17
Pros: Very conveniently located to the park entrance and shuttle (5 min walk), fairly recently built bathrooms and generally well designed campsite. Drinking water was plentiful and close by.

Cons: The absence of showers especially for such a developed site. Adding additional shade structures at sites in particular that do not have trees or baby trees. Was 104 degrees f the days we were there and we were tent camping, so between the hours of 11-6 staying at the site was not pleasing or all that bearable.

Otherwise was a nice campsite with nearby amenities and easy access to the park. Just watch out for the yellow jackets and the squirrels and deer that will demolish your tent if you leave any foodstuffs inside. They’re ruthless!

The campgrounds/site were beautiful and everything was well maintained! Would love to stay there again!
