Had a wonderful time at Watchman. The bathrooms were very clean and there is a dish sink there, which I didn't know about before arriving. The host was friendly and accommodating as we had an extra vehicle. She let us know where to park it close by. Beware of sneaky squirrels. The Visitor's Center is close by, within walking distance and hiking as well. I recommend the Watchman Trail as it was beautiful, not as crowded and not too hard. We were in D08, which was not as shaded so we were glad we brought our pop up canopy. I would not recommend the Riverside Walk as it was ridiculously crowded.

Great sites, amazing to be able to walk over to the visitor center and shuttle. Bathrooms were great and had a dish washing tub as well.

Watchman campground is very nice! The sites are close together, but that seems reasonable given how popular Zion is. The facilities are very clean and the staff are super friendly. I'm happy we visited in March - it was SUPER cold on some of the nights (we moved to the group site with friends) and we got rain/snow plus cold on one morning. But the crowds weren't horrible and the daytime temps were pretty great!

Very nice surroundings, large campsites, clean toilets. If you are lucky, youll have the visit from a deer !

The park was very full during this spring break week. However, our reservation worked flawlessly, the campground was clean and orderly, quiet at night, and we had a great time.

Easy to find, nice campground.

It was loud, just too many people around. Also, missing showers - if the restaurant has water access, they had working-non-stop water sprinklers outside for customers. So why no simple showers in the campground?

We LOVE ZION!

We would have liked to know though ahead of our stay that we would have construction happening near our site during the days. We understand the construction might be a good thing and necessary, but it was an unpleasant surprise.

we will be back and grateful for the time we had in this spectacular place... :-)

Nice campsites in loop D for small RVs, trailers, vans and tents. No connections but paved pull-outs with fire rings, tables and level gravel areas. Bathrooms were clean and heated.

Great experience and absolutely stunning surroundings. Camping within walking distance to the Visitors Center shuttle stop was incredibly convenient. Check-in was simple and our spot was easy to find. Wish they would have sold fire wood in the campground - had to go into Springdale to purchase any. Springdale is so close that it wasn't a big deal, but had we known that in advance we would have picked up wood before getting settled at our campsite.

Overall the campground was great. However, they cut down the tree at this campsite (D008) and there is 0 shade. They need to update the description of this site. You need to know what you are getting in 100degree temps, especially when traveling with children.

When we booked the campsite D008 it said it had shade. However, there was no shade because the trees had been cut down.
