We loved it here! The campground is beautifully set beneath Watchman Mountain, frequented by smaller and larger wildlife, the lots are spacious and well-kept. The amenities were clean and functional; unfortunately our nearest comfort station was shut down mid-stay for maintenance.Although the website stated no empty sites, there were plenty of empty lots - probably no-shows. That was a bit annoying since we would've lived to stay another night, but could not make a reservation.

the watchman campground is always clean and quiet. Zion is the best!

Nice space, big enough for a truck-tent and fire. Bathrooms closest to us were out of order and didnt see a ranger for 2days to find the next nearest.

Beautiful campground. Quiet and well maintained. A very short walk to Zion Visitor Center. Also a quick walk across the bridge for groceries or a cocktail.

It's location near the front gate of the park made it super convenient for the park itself and for the amenities in town. It was a beautiful setting and well-maintained tent locations.

We absolutely loved our trip; not only is it completely beautiful in Zion but specifically this is what we liked about camping at Watchman, it is close to the visitor center so we could walk over and get on the shuttles, the bathrooms were very clean, we had easy access to the watchman hike.

The campsite was big enough for our tent and everything else. The ground was very hard making it difficult to get our stakes in the ground and the sites were close together but overall it was a great campsite with a wonderful view and close enough to walk to the visitor center to take the shuttle up the Zion canyon

my only complaint would be that the fire ring needed to be cleaned out

It was amazing! The campgrounds were clean and well spaced out, the bathrooms were heated (a big plus!), and the views were insane! Cannot imagine staying anywhere else :)

A bit raucous on the weekends. All the sound from a nearby bar in Springdale carries through this campground, so we were hearing a cover band and all its admiring fans til close to 10:30 Saturday night, and lots of chatty night owls at sites around us too. Facilities were fine.

Our trip to the campground was on 06/11/20-06/13/20. Overall, the campground is area is clean. We camped at Loop D. There are two bathroom sites for Loop D (also shared with Loop F). Each of the bathroom site has women, men, and family sections. Family bathroom is closed. In the women bathroom, there are 3 toilet stalls and 2 sinks. On the weekend, both bathroom sites are open. On the weekday, only one bathroom site is open. We use the bathrooms at the campground early in the morning and afternoon, and they were very clean. Majority of the time, we are out on the trails and bathroom at the campground trails are clean...expect for the bathroom at the narrows. It is so bad that you will need the N95 mask to go inside. The campground is short distance (car drive/bike ride) to the market. Market is fairly priced and you can pick up grocery/food/drinks. You can also take hot showers at the market. The weather is very hot (day/night) and no shades at the campground. I recommend bringing a portable fan. It gets extremely windy around midnight to early morning. You need to tide your stuff down. Due to the heat, camp fire is not allow. Overall, we love Zion but we will not be coming back in the summer.

We were lucky to get a spot for one night. Campground is good.I wish there would be not so many no shows. Because of the early reservations you have to do. there we saw way too many empty spots in the peak of the season. People should be able to give there spots back and get the money in order to make space for others.
