It was super convenient to stay here. Right next to the visitor center so could easily take the shuttle in the mornings to our hikes. Also was able to walk into Springdale for a coffee shop days. Views are also INCREDIBLE just from the campsite. I hadn't really done a ton of research and was just blown away by the beauty of Zion so you could put me next to a dumpster and I wouldn't care. Speaking of dumpsters, one thing to notate is that the trash pick up was early and often woke me up. Campsites are close together but makes sense given the amount of visitors to the park. Bathrooms were clean and nearby. Dump station and water was in a convenient location as well.

Camping experience was wonderful. The bathrooms are very well maintained, and although there are no showers inside the park, a short walk to Zion Outfitters is easy enough. Campsites themselves are very nice with enough room for two full-size tents. The deer were regularly in our camp and snooping for food. Make sure to keep all food items in secured containers. Ive been to Zion multiple times, but this was the first time staying in the Watchman campground. Needless to say, I will definitely camp here again.

The site had no shade and was very hot in the afternoon. We enjoyed lots of stars and a ranger program at night. The morning light was beautiful and the air was cool. Close to the visitor center and the small town.

We had to walk forever (4-5 blocks) to find a bathroom. Other than that, everything was clean and quiet.

Avaibility of sites make it difficult for tent campers. Must change sites every day with tents it's work! But peaceful and quiet campground. At that time not enough facilities, bathroom

We’ve stayed here before in winter and LOVED our site - somewhere against the back left. This time we were lte to the game and snatched a bad site. Would not recommend D0004. Just in a major intersection and you’re right on top of your neighbors. Campground is an amazing location - honestly one of the best I’ve been to over the years.

Very well planned campsite. We were surprised that there were flush toilets, sinks, and a dishwashing station which made everything way smoother. It will be hot in the summer as not all trees are covering sites. Spring was great.

We managed to get 3 sites next to each other, D004, D006, D008. The sites are VERY close together, which was perfect for my Girl Scout troop, but might be something that others would want to be aware of. The campsite is absolutely beautiful. These sites had very limited shade, which might be an issue for folks in the summer, but was fine for early October. Within walking distance to market and other locations in Springdale, and the visitor's center. It was a lovely respite after hiking the Narrows. Open fire pit with grate for cooking (we brought our camp stove and it came in handy). We were also visited by a family of deer who decided to just traipse through the sites...didn't come too close to us, but it's clear they're not too intimidated by people! Some cell reception, but who needs it when you're surrounded by such beauty!Hoping to make the next stay longer!

Best place to go anywhere in Zion National Park. Easy access to the visitor center and the shuttle. We didnt need to worry about the parking although it started to get crowded before 7am.Respective campsite is located with an appropriate distance against the next ones.

Sites are close together with little privacy. Shade can be hard to come by it really depends on the sun.

Excellent campground at the entrance of the park. I had a walk-up site (park and walk a short distance to the stie) at F4 and it was pristine and tucked away in the back under a tree, great privacy and shade. The pergola gives nice shade for the table. Clean bathrooms with potable water source for drinking/wash bins. Highly recommend camping here since it's located at the first shuttle stop.

Campground was great, the neighbors weren't so great., too loud with their music. Please make sure people know the rules of noise ordinance when they enter the campground.

The particular spot I had didn't have any shade, but it was great otherwise. Fire pit restrictions had JUST been lifted so that was a nice and welcomed surprise.

Watchman is such a great location to see Zion and experience the Virgin River. We brought inner tubes to ride down the river and just enjoy the cool water in the summer heat. Hiking through the water was much more tolerable than walking the trails in the heat. Bring a shade canopy!! Whether your area is well shaded or not, youll thank me later. Restrooms were closed so youre limited to the use of portable restrooms which werent too bad, surprisingly. Neighboring camp was nice but didnt adhere to quiet hours until well after 11pm. Saw deer in the morning. Just as youd think, they are not shy - listen to the rangers and keep your food in the car or in a hard sided cooler with a lock! Scenery is a bit obscured by big trees but theres no better feeling than waking up in a gorgeous canyon! Definitely coming back when it gets cooler. We love Watchman and its now one of our favorite campgrounds! 4 out of 5 for the restrooms and lack of shaded areas in campground.

Clean, nicely organized and close to the park. Especially nice seeing Elk wandering around the campground! Restrooms were clean too.
