Good sites, clean bathrooms. They did close half the bathrooms on November 1 which was unfortunate because the campground was still completely full. Other than that, it's convenient and beautiful!

Clean site and bathroom. My only complaint was that the site hosts did not enforce quiet hours. We had a large group neighbor playing music loud and up until about 2 AM.

I love this campground. It's clean, quite and surrounded by critters and natural beauty. We want to return every year.

Find a shady spot if you are coming in summer. Be sure to hike the Watchman Trail; early morning is nice.

Great area! Only issue was that without a ton of tree cover at our site, it was too hot to stay there until the sun went down. But the river was so close that we were able to cool off

It was my first time visiting Zion. I went with two of my buddies, and we camped out for 3 nights. The campground was pristine. All the surrounding campers were respectful. We had a park ranger come around in the morning and she couldnt have been nicer. She gave us a map of the vicinity and told us how to get around. The bathrooms were very clean as well. The only bummer was just that the winds pick up very heavily in the evening and early morning while youre trying to sleep (late October), so just something to keep in mind. Overall, this campground was an amazing place to stay with gorgeous views, and very close to the visitor center. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful campsites D002 was slightly bigger than D003 and C005. D003 you can hang a hammock.
Sites wont hold more than 3 small to medium sized tents. No big tents.
Showers not on grounds but right outside of it in Zion Outfitters. Very convenient.

It was hot. Bring heavy duty tent steaks. It is very Rocky. The view was beautiful! The bathrooms and visitor center are all within walking distance.

It’s still Covid times and the park shuttle was sold out. So we had to hire a local shuttle. Try to book your shuttle early (something like months early).
Also if you walk into town in the morning to pick up last minute supplies For breakfast (like syrup) you may encounter really long waits to get back into the park. I just bypassed the line and walked around the stanchions, holding my park pass up in the air - no one stopped me.
I don’t know if this is seasonal but the winds picked up every night around 2 am that nearly blew our tent down, so secure those lines with good anchors!

Had a great time at Watchman Campground. I also had good cell phone service (t-mobile) - it was better in the Campground than it was in the town for me. My daughter was able to do a zoom with only minor cutting out. Right outside the pedestrian path out of Zion is a place to take showers. Bathrooms were very nice.

Good campsite Bc there was more space between sites and somewhat close to the bathroom. Wish there was more shade

Such a beautiful campground. We brought our e-bikes & rode to the river which is so close & The Narrows (about 8 miles away). The facilities were kept clean. So many deer!! It was awesome cannot wait to return.

I've been to Zion a million times. it has been quite a long time since I was there mid-summer. Never again. Too hot, too crowded. All of the campsites i've ever had at ion are nice. We usually stay in the Group loop, but this year we were unable to get one.
