Quiet place among the trees. Although the trees provide little shade in the afternoon/evening. The nearby bathroom is also used by the groups at the campsite so it is always very crowded and sometimes the toilet paper runs out. We once had a visit from a deer on our camping spot which was nice to see.

Loved this campground! The only thing is - the website states they allow hammocks, but they do not really. They have very very strict rules and no trees they allow hanging from. Not a big deal - unless you hammock camp like we do! We ended up having to go buy a very expensive tent last minute

Great campground! Easy to walk to bus stops, restaurants, and stores but far enough away to feel like you are camping. Sites and bathroom was clean, people were respectful, and everything was easy to find. Overall a great experience!

Half price of private camp ground but better than other.
Only problem is don’t have shower booth but no problem.
Everything satisfied.

Zion is such an amazing park. The campground was right at the center of it all. Quiet, beautiful and comfortable.

This is our 5th time at watchmen campground in the past 6 years, This time the mule deer were a pest worst than the squirrels. Also there was a family in loop B across from us who had a young child that screamed night and day. the people next to us said they were going to report it??? Don't know if they did

The campground is clean spacious very beautiful. A point worth noting, there is extremely high winds that blow through the valley at night. It can sound like a freight train. Def need to weight or pin down the tent really well. It was a beautiful trip I can't wait to camp again!!!!

The Watchman Campground was so nice! It was cold at night (February temperatures) but we came prepared and stayed mostly warm. Won’t be a problem for seasoned, educated campers. The bathrooms were also very clean and warm.

We stayed for 2 days and 3 nights- did the walk towards the Narrows (not the actual canyoneering though), Emerald Falls, Watchman Trail, and Angels Landing. Angels Landing was difficult but rewarding, although I actually think the views from Watchman and Emerald were better than Angels. Maybe that’s because it was winter, though.

The coolest hiking trail was definitely Watchman Trail. SO interesting, views all along the way, no pavement, and just stunning views from the loop at the top. A MUST if you’re in Zion.

We loved our experience at Watchman Campground (and all of Zion NP!) We visited in the winter and even though it was cold in the tent at night, we were lucky not to have the crowds. The campground facilities were clean and water was easy to access. Our tent campsite was large and spacious, although I imagine you would not have too much privacy if there were neighbors at all of the surrounding sites. I definitely would return and recommend to others.

Campground was very clean and close to the visitors center and shuttles. While I was not used to having neighbors so close everyone was very respectful.
