Not a lot of shade, but has awesome views of the Watchman. Spacious campsite and accessible to toilets.

In short, bring earplugs! Noisy, disrespectful campers making trips to the bathroom at 2am and letting their diesel truck run for 15 minutes just 20 feet from our tent. Yelling boys in the group area at 7:30am. "Social Sallys" drinking and talking loudly 25 feet from our tent until midnight. Construction noise from the "improvements" their making to the north campground starts before sunrise. Another camper got up in the middle of the night and ran their car for over an hour, again about 25 feet from our tent. Someone finally got up and told them to turn it off or leave. They drove away. We stayed 4 nights and two of those got very little sleep. I would never stay in this campground again and I have a National Parks Pass!!

Sometimes the bathrooms close for cleaning for a bit too long. Some camp sites are next to each other with no brushes or trees dividing them. Which sucks.

Zion's is amazing, beautiful place. Just a few issues with the campground. The Watchman was the only one open, the others must have been impacted by flash flooding, so they are closed. That drastically limits availability. One of the bathrooms was closed in the campground and there were only port-a-potties at the last stop on the shuttle. This is a bit disappointing, as people have to GO! Also, It would be good to have some garbage cans outside the bathrooms, as I noticed people just leave random garbage in and around the facilities. This is mostly due to bad camping behavior, but I think it would clean up a bit if they had a place to put their garbage. The signage for paved paths through the campground is a bit confusing. Especially for disabled.

The campsite was great. Close to the restrooms, which were super clean. I generally love the Watchman Campground, weve been there multiple times.

Outstanding campsites- easy access to park shuttles & the Watchman trail- an outstanding hike BTW. Also easy access by walking to developed area just outside park ($4 showers at the outfitters & groceries). Sky was pretty dark at campsite & Milky Way was easy to see.

A gorgeous site. Just beautiful. Hot in the summer so bring shade and no showers so a shower bag is a must. Really easy walking distance to shuttle.

Lovely campground, quiet, easy to find, close to visitor center and shuttles. Toilets were clean, grounds were clean and well maintained.

We camped at Watchman in C Loop from June 16-18. The weather was gorgeous with cool mornings and evenings and hot afternoons, so you have to have a little bit of everything clothing wise. Seeing the sun rise and set on those majestic mountains is everything--just breath taking. We witnessed 3 falling stars looking up at the darkened sky for an hour. My husband and I brought our two grandsons (ages 2 and 6). They had a blast as there was no TV, and we told them there was no internet for phone viewing. We visited the Visitor Center on Sunday, and it was very hard to find a parking space (only complaint). We walked the Pa'Rus trail which allowed us to use the wagon (to pull the boys in) for about two hours. It's a nice paved way next to the river. We really can't wait until next year, and I'll be sure to book a few more days in this extremely beautiful national park.

This was a lovely campground. We loved the location as it was within walking distance to some of the trails we wanted to explore (Watchman and Pa'rus) and the visitor center. I also would recommend Zion NP in January to avoid the crowds! The campground was not packed and the trails were beautiful as always.
