We stayed at Watchman Campground for one night on February 16, and overall, it was a great experience! We had a tent site, and despite the cold weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The camp host was super friendly, which made checking in and settling down a breeze. The campground was busy due to Presidents Day weekend, but it still felt well-organized and well-maintained.One of the highlights was waking up early to watch the sun rise over the mountainsabsolutely stunning and worth the chilly morning. The bathrooms were spacious and clean, which was a big plus. We also appreciated the dishwashing basin and the clean water pump, which made camping a little easier. The next morning, we packed up and headed straight into Zion National Park, which was incredibly convenient since the campground is right near the entrance.Overall, Watchman Campground is a fantastic place to stay if youre visiting Zion. Its well-kept, has great amenities for tent campers, and offers unbeatable views. Would definitely camp here again!

Lovely campground and great clean warm facilities. A shower would have been. Nice but is available for a charge in town. The lack of generators was a joy!

Very clean and well kept grounds. Convenient to the Visitors Center and all shuttles into the valley and into Springdale.

Stayed on site C014 for 3 nights. Campsite was very clean, quiet and perfectly located just one site over from the washrooms. Spacious enough for two 3P tents with room to spare. The fire pit had a great grate system, which can rise or lower as needed, to grill food. Plenty of water available in the washrooms, as well as a dishwashing station. Note -all the water at the washrooms and washing station runs COLD. Would have also been nice to have standing bbqs on the site (like the group camping sites). Would also be nice if firewood was sold on site, rather than having to drive into town. We rented e-bikes for 2 days (had to exchange the bikes after day 1 since the campsite has no electricity) and cycled and hiked around the scenic road.

Some noisy groups during our stay. Loud conversations and giggling at close to 2am from a couple sites, and really loud music being played for the entire campground to hear from another. If you would like to play music, please have the courtesy to keep the volume just enough for your own campsite to enjoy. Same as with hiking, most folks like to enjoy the peace and simple sounds of nature, not your Spotify playlist on almost full blast. The maintenance of the bathrooms was just ok.

This is a beautiful campground. The only issue I had is why did the garbage truck come by at 6:05am?? It was still pitch black out and this huge loud truck came by moving dumpsters around and had lights and the reverse beeping. The peaceful serene sunrise was suddenly turned into a construction site and the noise was unbelievable. Basically woke 500 people and families up before dawn by having a full size garbage truck come by at 6:05am. This is an insane decision and not to mention wouldnt it make the most sense to remove trash after check out time? Theyll be fewer people in the campsite itself and people checking out will have added their trash to the dumpsters meaning less of a chance trash stews in a hot dumpster all day. A very weird decision for an otherwise great campsite

In the park. Easy walk to restaurants, icecream, bars etc. easy access to shuttles if you would like. Some sights are no shade or not much shade so consider that when booking. Clean restrooms. Helpful camphost. level ground.

One of my favorite National Parks for sure and I'd love to give it more stars but definitely was frustrated on this trip with how noisy the campground was, even well after the 10p quiet time.

Really great campground c14 is a really awesome spot not far from bathrooms or dumpsters with a nice view of the watchman. Easy short trip into town for firewood or food. But try to buy food before arriving as it’s very expensive in town
The camp grounds at the Watchman site are great. The views are amazing and it is within walking distance to the visitor center, park shuttles, and the local market. All of the sites are very roomy and far enough away from eachother. The bathrooms are maintained regularly and there is potable water for refilling drinking water containers as well as a dish washing station.
Campground is wonderful! This campground definitely seems a bit newer than South campground. It is a quick walk to the visitor center, as well as all the shuttles that will take you through the park. If you are planning to rent an e-bike or gear to hike the Narrows, you can also walk to the red shuttle (which goes to Springdale where many e-bike rentals are) or to the rental place right outside of the park. Campground is very conveniently located for all activities within Zion.

Loved the proximity of Watchman Campground to the visitor's center and grocery/coffee/brewery/rentals (narrows gear, bike rentals, etc.) right outside of the park. All of these amenities were just a quick walk from the campground but the campground itself still felt quiet and secluded!

Campsite was nice, area looks great and of course the views are amazing in the canyon. Bathrooms are clean, and rangers were nice and helpful.
The setting was beautiful... but all of the bathrooms were closed. Why am I paying for a campsite when I can’t even use the facilities ? Poorly thought out

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
