Perfect location - about a 5 minute walk to the visitor center and shuttle bus pick up. Easy to get in and find after going through the park gates. As others have said, going in the East entrance could be quicker since you're not dealing with the crowds in town, but it's closer to the West entrance. Spot was easy to find and the lady who checked me in was very helpful. Spot itself overlooked a field and was at the end of a loop so it felt a little more private. Everything was clean and there is potable water available. The camp was a bit loud at night due to kids and large (possibly school) groups, but that's to be expected. Honestly, you can't beat waking up right below the giant Watchman and watching the sun rise over the mountains of Zion. I couldn't stop taking pictures during my stay. Truly magical.

We had a great time here. There were few campers, being winter. The surrounding views are epic. Would have liked hot water in the sink outside the bathrooms to wash dishes, but thats it!

Zion is magical in the evenings! The campground provides a space to soak it all in without all the hustle and bustle of the shuttle system.

I love how the campground is situated at the beginning of the entrance to the park, close enough to walk to the area where you have market, shops, showers, brewery, etc. The campsite was spacious and I had a beautiful view of the rocky canyon mountains.

Beautiful campground that is also very convenient to the park entrance, shuttle system and town of Springdale. You don't even need to move your car once you are parked at the campground with the shuttle system.

This was my fourth visit to Zion. I was surprised to find how unkept our site was. Weeds had grown past the markers for the site and were surrounding the firepit. Fires are once again allowed in the park, so seeing weeds right next to the firepit was disturbing. I glanced at other campsites; this was the situation with many of the sites in Watchman. In addition, the south campground is a mess. Finally, the road near tram station number one had a rather large deformity in it. There was nothing to caution cars or bikes; consequently, my brother hit it and went tumbling off his bike. He was taken to the hospital. After we got home, I emailed the park inquiring about information for their insurance. I still have not heard back from the park.

Great Campground! You can for the most part park the car and forget about it. Shuttle stop is within walking distance. There’s a little grocery/restaurant right next door. And the view of The Watchman as you sit around the campfire is amazing!

My friends and I stayed here and loved the campground. The only issue that we ran into was the wind at night and some thunderstorms but still had a fantastic time and loved being so close to all of the hikes.

Beautiful campground, close to Visitor center, but also close to multiple trails and wilderness.

I was very excited to stay and for the most part it lived up to my expectations, but there was little adherence to the quiet hours. I truly felt sorry for those with young children around because it would have been impossible to fall asleep before 2am and then people were up and moving around 5am in order to get into the park early.

Very comfortable deer have no fear, so do be aware that they are the watchman of this campground. The garbage was not where it said it was on the map, but easy enough to find. Very comfortable, close enough to walk to the bus. staking in a tent is a little difficult tho due to the toughness of the ground.

Nice campground with well-maintained facilities. The people that work at this campground are very friendly. Many hiking trails nearby.

Zion never ceases to dazzle me. The camp site was clean and we had a perfect view of both sunrise and sunset. The bathrooms were heated and clean, which felt so luxurious. The day we were there park workers were trimming some of the trees in loop C and they chipped up the wood so that campers could use it as fire wood! It was so awesome we ended up cooking lunch over a fire. The only comment I have is that the deer will definitely attack your trash if you leave it out and bombard your campsite.
