This campsite was very clean and well kept. It was practically empty when I went which was amazing. The views from my campsite were awesome and so was the star gazing. Staff was very friendly as well. I will definitely be back.

Peek-a-Boo slot canyon about 1.5 hours from Watchman is beautiful and unique! Razor's Edge will take you there on an ATV. Ask for Brett. He's very knowledgeable regarding the rock formation and history.

1st time staying at watchman campground. Very clean, super close to everything. Walking distance to the visitor center, shuttle and outside town. Amazing spot to rest, over looking the tall mountain walls. Got lucky with a reservation

We stayed at site C006 on 8/15 on a cross country roadtrip and hiked the Narrows, which was incredible. The site was an easy walk to the shuttle/visitor center and the views are gorgeous. We stayed up all night stargazing, and it was some of the best stargazing we experienced across the country on this trip. We were visited by a family of friendly (and adorable) deer each morning that we had to shoo away from our food. There is no shade at this site and the heat was so intense in the afternoon that we had to give up on our plans of relaxing at our site after our hike and head into town instead. We did struggle a little to get our tent stakes in the ground and had to pile some rocks to help hold the corners in place. There is not a ton of privacy, although the site to the left was pretty far away and gave us some nice breathing room. A beautiful experience and I would feel lucky to camp here again!

Decently level campsite with little shade during the day. Bathrooms close to the group sites were very busy and in need of cleaning, with stall doors not locking/broken. Friendly staff on check in. Good service with T-Mobile.

Awesome place, angles landing and the narrows were our favorites. We loved staying at watchman, we could walk to the visitor center versus driving and avoid the stress of finding a parking spot. Red rocks surround the campground. Also have a dishwashing station at the restroom which is so helpful! Loved it!

Wonderful campground! Sites are space apart nicely, the bathrooms are nice and clean with flushing toilets and there is always deers roaming around. The ground is hard so come prepared with a good hammer and tent stakes, it does get windy. The views in the campground are gorgeous, its a great location right in the entry of the park and close to the visitor center and the shuttles.

Campground was right inside Zion national park. Super accessible to shuttle stops. All the site had gorgeous views engulfed by the canyons. Highly recommend.

We were in C loop. The noise traveled up from the lower campground. Everyone was quiet after 10pm so that was good. If your trailer/camper rides low watch for the long log that shortens the length of the site. We were only 16’ long and was tough with the truck to fit into site. If you don’t see the logs some campers can damage their underbelly, tanks, leveling legs..etc.
The village across the bridge was nice. No laundry services available. Need to take the free shuttle into town or drive for laundry services.

2 stars for camp site C006, Loop C (TENT ONLY NONELECTRIC) Part of WATCHMAN CAMPGROUND due to the layout of the camp site and not having any trees/shade. Can they plant a tree or 2? Also bathrooms where pretty disgusting. Can they be cleaned more often? No showers available. Firewood was not allowed during our stay and so many bugs (which were pretty annoying). Deer roaming through campsites day and night. Compared to other campgrounds in Utah this is definitely not one of the best. The views of Watchman more than made up for it all! This review is for the campground NOT Zion.

Great campground. we went in December which obviously is considered off season and the low amount of people that were there were appreciated. We had a bunch of deer visit us every morning, nice touch.

Would def stay there again, maybe not in the summer, because there is no shade at all.

LOVE zion!!

Great place to stay in winter! Just make sure to prepare for cold weather camping, you can't be the views or atmosphere, way better than summer (less packed).

Honestly, I was very surprised at how much we enjoyed our camping experience here. The last time we were in Zion, we were at South Campground, as we heard it was supposed to be more "serene, quiet" than Watchman, but it was the complete opposite (we were surrounded by extremely loud, drunk campers past quiet hours and no one enforced it). This time around at Watchman, we had very respectful, quiet neighbors, which can really make or break your camping experience. At night, everyone basically turned in right before quiet hours. At night, we were able to stargaze and see the milky way, which was pretty awesome! There is also a sink to wash dishes in by the bathrooms. Our site had very, very little shade, so I'd suggest bringing a shade canopyCOVID-wise, we saw about 75% of the people using the restrooms wear masks. Bathrooms were relatively clean our first day; it seemed that they had been recently cleaned, as there wasn't much dirt/trash and the toilet paper was fully stocked. But on the second day, it appears that they were not cleaned/restocked at all, as there was no more toilet paper towards the end of the day (luckily, we brought an emergency supply), and the bathrooms were starting to look a little dirty from everyone using them. That was surprising, given the current pandemic we are in. Also, when we checked in, we were told they were cutting down dead trees and our spot was blocked off because of it. The ranger told us to come back in an hour; we came back 90 minutes later and they still hadn't come to our site, so we ended up just waiting there until they did, but they didn't even need to be in our site to cut down the tree because they just cut it from the road.

Definitely HOT in August, but was expected. VERY windy during the day (calmed at night) which made cooking and packing food difficult. The stars, the views and the quick accessibility to trails obviously more than made up for it! Bring a tarp and string for shade (there are little pergolas at each site but they do not provide shade)
