We were in site C002 which had a little shade and overall a good site. My biggest comment is that the bathroom capacity was not adequate for the number of users.

November is a good time to camp at the Zion national park campground. Really don't have any criticisms of the campground other than allowing large Vans and small RV's in the tent section. Unlike tent folks, these people often have a heating unit that makes quite a racket, comparative to camping right next to a loud swamp cooler and not very easy to drown out their noise when trying to sleep if they are your neighbor or camped nearby. Personally, I think some of them are louder than good generators, which are not allowed to operate during the evenings and mornings. Also don't like folks who string up lights around their campsite. Zion and Springdale are designated dark zones, where unnecessary lights shouldn't be allowed. Those are my only gripes.

Campground was beautiful. Our site had a tree that provided some shade from the hot sun. Bathrooms were clean and close. Ranger talks at the amphitheater was fun and educational. We loved our stay

Nice site with afternoon shade. Tent pad was too hard to use spikes so things blew around when it was windy, but not too big a deal. Always great to camp in the park.

Very lovely spot. The pitching area had small pebbles, blocking the dirt from getting on the tents which was nice! Loud neighbors during the weekend though

Its my first time camping and we love it. Im glad my husband and i did it. It was cold at night but i already anticipated it. Everything was perfect. The only thing i got disappointed about is the camp site i booked should be near the bathroom but the nearest bathroom was closed so we had to walk a little bit. But its fine. Over all, my husband and i had fun.

It was a Wednesday evening and we decided to look up camping in Zion. To our disbelief, there was a site available. We booked it! When the Friday morning sun rose, we were off to explore Southern Utah. Towards the end of our day we found ourselves at the Zion Brewery. A nice cold beer to cap off our day. My lady was sitting directly across from me at an outside pub table. Looking to the West, I could see the sun shining behind her. It was at that moment that I thought, " Could there be another site available for one more night?" I logged onto my Recreation.gov app and again to our disbelief there was another site available. It was site 7 in the walk-in tent camping area. What an amazing experience. To be able to visit Zion National Park during peak summer and get not one but two camping spots on a whim is purely miraculous. Thank you for such an amazing experience.

The place to stay to experience zion. Walking distance from number one shuttle stop. Walking distance from the visitor center. Beautiful view of the watchman while you camp. Bathroom and potable water close by. Some shade at almost every site. No showers but the showers are a 5 min walk away at zion outfitters. Bonus, make sure you look up at the night sky at night. For a beautiful view of the milky-way.

Nice campground in a beautiful setting. Polite park hosts and easy to navigate. Close to town if you need a shower and easy to walk to the shuttle without having to wrestle for parking.

The actual park was beautiful, unfortunately the traffic congestion and people on bikes, especially e-bikes, made the area near the visitor center and book store along with the Pa’rus trail a nightmare.

Weather turned misty. We decided not to camp. Took a little walk at Temple of Sinawava and then drove home.

awesome camping spot. clean and well marked. close to park visitor center for shuttle into Zion. easy walk to brew pub and marketplace, but also close to shuttle into rest of town where there are plenty of restaurant options. would return again for sure.

Amazingly clean, very impressed

Not a secluded campsite by any means (many neighbors visible in all directions). Nevertheless, it was clean, well maintained, and super convenient. That alone (walking distance to the shuttle stop) was well worth the lack of privacy. Would camp here again in a heartbeat.

Watchmen campground is wonderful!

We camped three nights in a ‘tent only’ loop at the Watchman Campground. The sites were clean and easy to access. Proximity to the bathrooms and potable water was great and the ability to rinse dishes/dispose of grey water was an added bonus. Pretty great amenities for the price being asked. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again upon a return trip to Zion NP.

Great campsite that is proximal to everything within the park (shuttles, visitors center, trailheads) and still close to Springdale where showers, groceries, and laundry are located. If that were not enough, it is one of the most beautiful front country campgrounds that I have ever stayed in! (remember to put away your food or deer will get into it as they roam the campground in the morning.
