Watchman campground is a wonderful place to camp just inside the entrance to Zion National Park. It has campsites that would suit any type, from tents to motor homes. The sites are well maintained and the bathrooms are clean. There are trails close by and a short walk to the visitors center where you can catch the free shuttles.

Perfect spot right against the mountain range super close to bathrooms but thankfully your dont have a lot of people walk by and you have cell reception this was a perfect spot for us

Watchman is a wonderful campground. Sites are large and well spaced, especially in B loop. The campground is relatively quiet. Many sites with good views of the surrounding mountains or along the Virgin River. Well maintained bathrooms. Having electricity at each site ensures that noisy generators are not running. Lots of trees and wildlife roaming in the campground. Easy walk to the Visitor Center and into town.

Close to the visitor centre and the shuttle buses. Busy, modest size spots, exposed to the sun

Very well run and clean campground. Only complaint was the restroom near our site was closed (no explanation). If you want better cell coverage get a site near the river. Easy walk to the Zion visitor center (buses etc..).

Watchman was a lovely campground with the amenities that we wanted for our RV trip. The trail along the river from the campground to the Visitor's Center was close and easy. We stayed for a few days before heading to Bryce. For anyone heading that direction from Zion, please be aware that the vehicles taller than 11'4" cannot pass through the tunnel until 8 am - AND THERE IS NOWHERE TO QUEUE BEFORE 8 AM! We didn't know how long it would take to get there (20 minutes), and we arrived at 7:55 am. We totally assumed there would be a place to pull over and wait until the rangers got there to control the traffic for the oversize vehicles but there was not! We pulled over as best we could but got severely reprimanded (not incorrectly) for blocking lanes, etc. Just a heads-up for others with RVs!

This campsite (B61) is large and private. We like it very much. Will book it again next January when we come back.

Really amazing place. Love that you can walk from your campsite to the little town, but remember to take your pass with you!

Best national park that we have visited

The sites were very large, nicely shaded. I loved the access to the river. Bathrooms were always clean. The wash sink was super convenient!

The view from our campsite was great. The restrooms clean, the trails well marked, our interactions with the Rangers were all we could ask for.

Great location, good distance between sites on B Loop, and clean restrooms. I wish they had another dump station, but wait wasn’t too bad.

Wonderful campsite!

Friendly staff and good semi-private camping spots. Would have rated this higher if showers were available and/or hot water. Other than - great views and proximity to Zion attractions and the town of Springdale

Nice spot, hiked the watchman trail. 2 hours round trip.
If you are going through the tunnel on your way out and are towing a large trailer, check to see if you need a trailer permit.
