Loved our stay in Watchman. We arrived on Saturday, 1/3, and the crowds were gone as of 1/4. So peaceful and beautiful. We were able to drive the scenic route in our own vehicle, since the shuttles stopped running at end of day on 1/3. Go early ( 8/9 am) in off season and you may be one of only a few cars at each site. Our campsite, B58, did not have fresh gravel like many other sites, so after a rain it was muddy. I expect they are working through the campground.

I loved the campground and found the scenery and the amenities to be top notch, except for not having showers. I somehow missed that information when I booked the campsite. But I still loved it and would definitely return, especially off-season.

Very pleasant site right on the river. It was nice to have electricity since it was chilly! We rode our bikes non-electric! Up the Zion Canyon Road to the Sinawava parking area and back A great experience on a lovely fall day.

Was promised some shade, but all trees near site were dead. Site was unkept and hosts were rarely seen. Some bathrooms were inoperable for no apparent reason. Staff were unhelpful or absent completely. Many visits to the kiosk for assistance were met with a be back in 30 minutes sign. Multiple attempts were made. When I was able to make contact with a Ranger, I was told that I was not speaking to that kind on Ranger. At least the rest of the park is not run as poorly as the watchman campground. If hosts are only there to change out reservations signs then why to we need 3 sets. They were done by 9 and never seen the rest of the day. What was the Ranger doing all that time out in the campground?

We would have like to take a shower on the campground. It was not possible.

Very nice places, we had a great view of the Watchman. Very nice to just walk to the shuttle buses.

Although the winter campground was well maintained, the lack of a shower affects the overall experience. In the winter, a shower is a necessary as during the other months. I'm not clear why there wasn't a shower room.

Fantastic, secluded location next to river and ridges where the sun sets. Bench and fire pit provided, wooden planks show camp site. Two different types of plugs for electricity outlet. Two spaces for vehicles that pull right in. About two minute walk from bathrooms which are well maintained.

We stayed a total of 6 nights at Watchman Campground, 4 nights at Loop A and 2 nights at Loop B. We are foreign tourists and had rented a campervan and it was simply awesome to wake up to the canyons. The place was very clean and everyone from neighbouring campers to the rangers were so friendly and helpful! I accidentally left my phone in one of the restrooms but thankfully someone found it and a ranger brought it to the Visitor Center. Am truly grateful. We loved the experience and wil definitely visit more of the national parks!

Zion's National Park is spectacular. I love the bike ride up the canyon. Going in April and May makes it so it is a pleasant tempature. We go every year to hike the trails and watch the California Condors fly.

Location is excellent. Surrounded by Watchman, with creek nearby, and wild deer as neighbor. Site with electricity is a big plus for our stay. The site is spacious and well designed.

Awesome view, and super close to the visitor center! Basic amenities compared to other NP campgrounds, but springdale is right next door.

Great spot by the river. Not a very quiet campground but great facilities and access to the park. We loved staying here.

Een geweldige plek om te verblijven. Zo dichtbij alles. Het was super. Fietsen huren was ook een geweldige ervaring. De shuttle bus werkt perfect.

I very much enjoyed the evening with the talk on light pollution with the ranger.

The location was beautiful and centrally located. We had a campsite by the river that the kids could play around in. The lack of showers in the bath houses was disappointing. The park pushes you to two commercial outfitters with showers, one just outside the pedestrian gate and another one that was a shuttle ride away. Neither of those options were good for my family.

The experience was great, the camping is amazing with an excellent location ( 10 min walk to the ziin shuttle service). The only drawback was that some of the restroom were out of service and there were no avaliable showers that were open.

Great campground overall! Great location right after the entrance of the park and close to showers, grocery store and restaurant. Magnificent view for the place as well. I definitely will go back!

A lovely campground at the entry gate of Zion. The sites have electricity but no water or dump station. However, both are conveniently available near the entry. The ranger was friendly and accomodating. I will definitely visit again.

Beautiful! We had an amazing time camping in Zion at Watchman. Our site was perfect being that we had access to the beach near the river. And we couldn't beat the views! The restrooms were all very clean and well cared for. And all was quiet at night accept for the occasional RV furnace kicking in. We will absolutely will go back in winter, it's our favorite time of the year to visit.
