Loved this campsite, close to the creek with beautiful views of zion's walls towering in the distance!

A great space where we could hook up to electric. The bathrooms were clean and the water access with dish water location was convenient. Perfect view of the park and easy access to the town, trails, and shuttle system.

The English translation of the review is:Our location near the stream was great, with clean restrooms and a large sink for washing dishes. It was very comfortable and with nice view of the mountains. It was close to the hiking trails in Zion National Park. A convenient sewage dumping station and shade from the trees."

We had the feeling of camping in the nature due to the view on the nearby mountains and the presence of wildlife around and inside the camp (we spotted an elk while walking around).

I never actually made it to the campsite. I arrived at the north Zion gate at 4:10pm. The ranger who was not helpful and had a bad attitude said the tunnel shuts down to motor homes at 4:30. I had 20 minutes and he wouldnt let us through. He then gave us a paper directions that was supposed to take us 2 1/2 hours to get around the tunnel. We never made it because the directions were not clear. It wasnt just us either, apparently it is not posted well enough because we saw 4 other motor homes turned around after us. The next morning we drove to see the campground we missed out on. Some of the resources at the south entrance should be move to the north and the website updated.

We stayed for 3 nights and it was wonderful. Campground is well maintained, has power and showers are close by, just outside the park entrance at Zion Outfitter. Loop B is close to everything with a walking path to Market Plaza and close to the Blue Line shuttle.

Staying in the Watchman CG at Zion NP made our experience one of the best. We were there for over a week during Memorial Weekend. We did not notice the crowds as we could walk to the Visitor's Center, the Watchman Trail, the Pa'rus Trail and the shuttle. The CG was clean and quiet. We had a snug spot, 53a in Loop B, but it was perfect for our 35' 5th wheel. We could hear the Virgin River out our window. And it was an easy walk to rent equipment (eBikes and Narrows gear) from Zion Outfitters and also get some brews from Zion Brewery.

The "buddy site" was not explained fully on web site. We booked thinking we were beside our cousins. What it really was a revolving site for different people for 9 days between us and sharing a campfire with 6 sites.

Very nice campground and ideally located (close to visitor center) and the river.
They always mention that you need to book 6 months in advance. Don't give up if you wake up late as we did, there is a lot of movement and cancelations. If you go often, you might find a spot.
It worse !

Overall the sites are OK. What was weird were the six sites in a cluster that we ended up in

The campground was very well maintained! The electricity is a bonus with the heat in the afternoon! The bathrooms were clean, the river walk was great to get to the visitor center and the shuttle, and the town is right across the river (walking distance). We really enjoyed this campground!

Great campground with beautiful views and easy access to Zion village. But not easy access to bathrooms/water. Some facilities were closed due to staff shortages. Also extremely smoky due to personal camp fires. Time to eliminate wood fires in National and state parks!

We had a lot of fun at the campground because we could play in the river. Easy walk to visitor center. Some restrooms were closed. It was a shame we couldnt reserve it for more nights. there seemed to be a lot of empty spots around us but the website said it was all full.
@JULEES340B5744 · Camped on Jun 18, 2022 at Campsite #B53A
At first we were skeptical of sharing the pavilion with 4 or 6 tables with 5 other campsites. The fire ring was to be shared also, but no fires were allowed so it wasn't an issue. We never had a conflict with neighboring campers. We did reserve a spot fairly close to bathroom number 3 which was locked up the whole time. Budget cuts? plumbing problems? We had to go further but it wasn't too bad. We found no mosquitos yet this year which was nice. Thanks for maintaining a camp in such a beautiful place.

Watchman overall is great for the price and proximity but this particular site I would not reserve again. Shared picnic area and fire ring. However picnic area is covered and that could be a huge bonus to some.
@MarkM2223984 · Camped on Feb 18, 2022 at Campsite #B53A
While I understand the need for more sites, we were camped in 53a and b and c were also full. A little too close. When we left in the am, I felt bad unzipping my walls from canopy due to the fact it was literally 3ft from our neighbors.
