Watchman is very conveniently located at the southern end of Zion National Park. It's a gorgeous campground that is quite large. I was there in early February and it was busy on the weekend but not even half full during the week. We had spot B52 and could hear the river at night since there are no generators permitted in the campground. We could watch the sun and moonrise and despite being so close to Springdale, had amazing star views. Campground is clean, the spot was huge, level, and had all amenities needed. Bathroom is clean and heated and well stocked. I would absolutely stay at Watchman in the future, should I be lucky enough to visit Zion National Park again.

We stayed in Site B52 which was a beautiful, private campsite on the river with plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the views. Loved it and would return in a heartbeat.

Amazing views. Heated bathrooms that were super clean. And easy to get a camping spot amazing to camp at Zion in January!

Campground itself was clean, peaceful and quiet. Loved biking on the Pa'rus trail and in the canyon.

My recent camping vacation at Zion Watchman Campground was marred by significant issues, primarily concerning the restroom facilities in Loop B. With one of the two restrooms out of commission, campers were forced to traverse a considerable distance to access the only available facility. This posed a particular challenge for elderly and handicapped individuals, transforming a simple necessity into a potentially insurmountable obstacle.

The oganisation was perfect. The site was perfect on the riverbanks. Alittle bit noisy cause of the high water level of the virgin river

I have been visiting Zion for most of my 68 years and was excited to get a camping spot next to the river this time through. Having electricity is especially helpful this time of year when it is so chilly at night. Very grateful that generators are not allowed so that we can all enjoy the peaceful nature of Zion.

Great campground next to the Virgin river. Electric site with no water but they do have a dump station. Great views and just inside the park. AT&T had 2 bars and dish worked great! We were in site 52.

I amazing campground site. Rated very good because the bathroom in our loop were closed. Very easy to drive in and easy to find campsite. Beautiful river passes behind the campsite so we had beautiful sounds that out us to sleep. In the morning we had one deer next to the site. Table was perfect and fireplace we did not get to use. We will def be back.

Incredible campground with all amenities within walking distance of everything you need (park info, bathrooms, shuttles, groceries, equipment, etc.). Note that they do not provide showers so plan accordingly (not an issue if you have a RV). Incredible value.

I absolutely love Zion and the Watchman campground is just great. It is near hikes and the pathway. I recently bought a new bike so it was even better. The campground is well maintained and the Virgin river runs through it. There is so much to do.

We camped in spot B052 and we couldnt have been happier. We had direct access to the river, and a gorgeous view. This is probably one of the prettiest campgrounds Ive ever stayed at.

Beautiful views morning and night. Market and restaurants in Springdale are walkable. Zion Outfitters to rent gear for the Narrows etc is walkable and near shuttles.
