The dump station was a disaster- both flushing water lines were inoperative. Some were using drinking water to flush! With nobody at the check-in station, abuse and campground degradation is likely to increase!

Amazing experience. Clean, great location, friendly neighbors, quiet. The small creek behind the camping site was really cool to take a splash after a day of hiking. Walking distance to the visitor center, and showers in Zion Outfitters. Bathrooms and dish sink were clean. Just make sure to bring at spray, as we had a bunch of ant nests in our camping site. Squirrels and deer are common, so try to bring containers to keep your food away from them. Our specific site (042B) didn't have any trees to hang any hammocks on, so keep that in mind.

Staff were helpful. We didn't have a reservation so they booked one for us. Restrooms were clean too

Sites were nice and clean with electric plug-in, picnic table, and fire pit. We were in B loop and it was a 5 minute walk to the shuttle. We really enjoyed our visit and will be back. Beautiful views and star gazing from our campsite as well!

This campground is the most convenient campground inside Zion park. Therefore, it is also the most difficult site to make reservation. If you plan to go, you should make a reservation way in advance. The campground itself is nice with some privacy. You still can see your neighbor but not too close. From the campground, you can walk to the visitor center, shops and restaurant inside the park. The only downside is there is no shower.

Excellent campground! Spot was next to the river. Clean bathrooms, well maintained.

We used a tent, but I would not recommend it unless you have sandbags etc because the ground is EXTREMELY hard. We bent tent stakes and couldn't get others to go into the ground and we needed then due to wind. Bathrooms were kept up and nice. Staff was friendly and informative.

Watchman was an excellent campground. Our site B42 was spacious and right along the river. The whole park is very beautiful. I knew going in that the park itself is not that dog friendly and we could not take them on any hiking trails except for the paved Pa'rus trail nor take the shuttle with the dogs which I do understand with all the people, but I was surprised to learn that we could not even drive in our private vehicle to where the shuttles go to the Temple of Sinawava at the end of the paved road. They even let the guests at the lodge drive their private vehicles down that road but no one else visiting the park can.

The paved Pa'rus trail is also the only trail bicycles can go on and with the massive popularity of all the new E bikes being rented in Springdale it is not enjoyable to walk on especially with dogs as most of the younger crowd riding their bikes are going very fast and do not even alert you that they are coming up right behind you making that trail slightly dangerous for walking with or without your doggies.

Driving up and through the tunnel was very beautiful and enjoyable site and recommended.

So close to the canyon being inside the park - made the beauty even more peaceful.

One of the best campsites I have ever stayed at.

The campground was so beautiful and very convenient to everything Zion. We don’t have a car and it was nice to walkthrough everything. Definitely recommend and will return.

All of our hikes were truly awe inspiring and challenging from a physical standpoint. We loved them all. The shuttle service, once you know how it runs to get your tickets makes things so much easier from a driving, parking standpoint.

Stunning location with quick access to Zion. We used e-bikes to get around and they are perfect for Zion. We own ours but you can rent them just outside the park. Our site was B42. It was near the river and had great views. The path to the visitor center was right behind us so we got a bunch of foot traffic by our site. Sites are large, fairly level and typical of a National Park. The view of the Watchman day and night was amazing. Didn't use the rest rooms.

Great campground to see Zion, you don't ever have to leave if you don't want to. There is a waking trail over to the stores and restaurants. Mule deer are in the campground every night. Site was roomy and level plus on the river.

We stayed here on our way back to Montana. On our trip down, the beginning of January, we tried to make reservations at watchman. The app did not work well and was extremally frustrating. I finally gave up after several attempts to reserve a spot only to find out after leaving the area that one of the attempts to reserve a spot had gone through and we got charged for 2 nights that we never used. So on the way back I tried again. This time, as in the last, the app gave me an error code as I finished the reservation but i ignored that message and checked my email and it had gone through. Not happy with reservation.gov but there is little alternative.
