Beautiful site with gorgeous views. The bathrooms were very clean. It was so nice to be in the park.

Great campground, no water hookup is a strange choice in a desert. The river behind the campground is lots of fun for kids. Bring tubes for everyone. No bugs really but hot. Very hot. Power worked great and the bathrooms were clean. Another strange choice no showers anywhere, have to go to town for that.

Watchman Campground is the best place to camp at Zion! Quiet campground next to the Virgin River. Beautiful views all around and easy walk to the visitor's center to catch the shuttle, or to walk over to Springdale and grab a coffee in the morning or lunch or dinner. My only complaint is that it is hard to snag one of these spots.

Great trip. But, the restroom closest to our campsite remained closed for the entire 4-day stay. We selected the site partially due to proximity to restroom. Can’t count on expected amenities. Garbage trucked dripped oil at every stop. Good experience but hoping for better next time.

Beautiful area, the site location was great as we backed to the path and river. HOWEVER there were so many ants that we had to move the table and they continued to follow. Fire ants and regular EVERYWHERE!! This site needs some help...

Nice campground. Just needed more shade vs the hot sun. Had bathroom n dishwashing station. Close to the river.

Campground is clean, mostly flat, and well maintained with clean bathrooms(w/o showers). The location is also next to the visitor center, which has a drinking water filling station, and is a stop for shuttles to Zion and nearby Springdale. The registration process for the sites is nerve racking, since the nicer sites are gone within minutes of being made available, but if you can get them, the surrounding views are incredible Either way, you can still enjoy them from the campground itself, so I definitely recommend staying here if you can. There is no pool, no showers, and the sites were limited to electric connections only, but for our 2 night stay w/ an RV, the pros more than outweighed these cons.

A great place to visit. Lots of wildlife nearby and a nice pathway along the river. The campground is pet friendly and a nice pet available trail nearby.
