Great campsite!

The location, in Zion, is stunning! Lots of clean bathrooms. Spaces are close together so don't expect much privacy. Easy access to the visitor center, trams, restaurants, shops, etc. Negatives...site had leftover trash and table was very dirty.

The campground was amazing and so was the staff! The views were wonderful!Although my experience reserving the sites for two days on recreation.gov was difficult. It would not allow me to set an alert and it would not let me reserve two days at once. I ended up paying multiple cancellation/change fees and ended up with two different sites. It added to our stress of doing all on our schedule in two days by having to fit in have to move our trailer mid-morning.

Wonderful campground, Watchman Campground. Easy access to the Pa'rus trail to walk our pups every morning and beautiful scenery. Pa'rus trail is a good start to our bike rides to the top of the scenic drive. Just love it there. Wish it weren't so hard to reserve a campsite but we did it and had a great time!

My 2 daughters and I enjoyed Watchman campground immensely while traveling southern Utah in an RV. The site was level and shaded and we loved watching the stars while enjoying a campfire. It was most convenient for walking to catch the shuttle for Zion and downtown Springdale. The market and restaurant across the footbridge was enjoyable. We would recommend staying here.

Watchman Campground is a wonderful place to camp. The RV sites are very nice with only electrical hookups, 30 amp and 50 amp. You can fill up with water at the dump station which is by the entrance to the campground. If you have a dog, there's a really nice Pa'rus trail that dogs are allowed to walk. It's the only trail that allows dogs, You can ride the shuttle up to several other wonderful hiking trails but no dogs are allowed. The scenery is awesome. In our fifth wheel, we love camping here.

Campground itself was beautiful but our electrical went out at our spot and we had no power (heat) for one night. Had a hard time reaching anyone. Finally got ahold of someone the next morning and they came out and fixed it. Thankfully. Can’t beat camp views.

We've tent camped and camped with an RV here and absolutely love it. Its conveniently connected to the store, pub, and rental shop. We went in January, there were a lot of friendly deer. So friendly they came into our site while roasting marshmallow to check out the trash in our site. Overall, it's a beautiful campground.

Super nice campground with good restroom facilities and dumping station. RV sites have electric hookups. Awesome scenery a short walk to the Watchman Trail.

Nice campground, easy access to Visitor Center and pedestrian entry control and bike trails. Electricity was a plus, but sure missed showers; paid $8 for 10 minute shower just outside entrance. Biking all the way north to Temple of Sinawava was the highlight of Zion NP.

Great campsite with plenty of shade, very private and right next to the Virgin River. Woke up one morning and as I opened the door I was 5 ft from a sleeping deer. Slowly went back in trailer and enjoyed watching the doe for another 1/2 hr, as it wasn't bothered by human interaction. Tried to extend our stay but campsite was sold out on-line. As we looked around many of the campsites sat empty. Apparently lots of no shows and no effort to cancel. The campground should develop a system so when a no show / no call / no online check in. Camp site gets released back into system so other campers can enjoy this wonderful campground. During our stay 1/3 to 1/2 of the campground was empty even though on-line the campground was sold out.

Great location, big sites, adequate privacy. Easy to walk to places you'd want to go. Only downsides? No showers in the bathrooms and no water at the site.
