Nice quiet campground. Bathrooms have flushers and were kept nice and clean. You can ride your bike or walk to town through a separate entry so you don't need to go through the main gate and wait in line. The Watchman trail head is at the campground. It's an easy trail with great views. Ride your bike from the campground to the canyon and hike the different trail heads. Easy to get around and user friendly. We recommend eating at Oscars if you go out for lunch or dinner. We stayed there the first of March and it wasn't very busy. Campground has a nice dumping station. Very nice and peaceful!

Sixth time to Zion but first time in one of the official campgrounds, and the proximity to shuttle and trails was absolutely worth it. Great views from the campsite and excellent amenities. Had never bothered doing the Watchman trail before, but it was a perfect sunset walk.

The Watchman campground is so close to many exciting outings. The shuttle bus service is outstanding and allowed easy access to several nearby hikes and the passage to the Narrows, which is not to be missed. The campground itself was super clean and well maintained. Though the sites were fairly close to each other, the campers were quiet and respectful. My spouse explored a couple of fabulous mountain biking opportunities which were within 30 minutes of the campground.

My husband, my two young adult sons, and I camped at Watchman in site B46 for 4 nights. The campground was well maintained The bathrooms were clean. Our site was right on the river!! Unfortunately, not much shade in the afternoon. B48 had tons of shade.

One of the best maintained campgrounds in the Western United States! We stay at at a large number of NPS campgrounds each year and this one is at the top in terms of being well maintained..

Spent 1 night in A11 and 2 nights in B35. Definitely prefer A loop - bigger spots, paved, more space between, newer picnic tables. But it’s all great! Every spot has a view. Walking distance to everything. Can’t beat being in the park. Will definitely be back!

Great campground in an amazing location. Beware of possible flash floods.

We had an electric RV site. The sites were large, much larger than the private campgrounds in Springdale. The bathrooms were numerous, large, and clean and all had potable fresh water spigots. They had a 2 lane dump station, which is nice. deer walk through the campground like they don't care, which they don't. It's a 5 minute walk to the visitor's center / shuttle bus. Beautiful place.

We lived almost everything about Watchman. Our only complaint is that large river sites that specifically had “no tents” on the reservation posts, had tents on them! We have a 40’ RV and the low hanging tree prevented us from backing in the way we would have preferred. Our friends had a river site, do we were able to enjoy the fire there…

The majority of the sites are just terrific; flat grade with easy back in access and electric. Great views of the bluffs are delightful when the light plays on them.

The campground was very well kept! When you get there you will instantly fall in love. It’s so scenic we saw deer roaming the campground, the mountains surrounding are unreal. I would go back a million times!!! We visited the park in January and the weather was cold. Well for me it was being from so-cal! It was maybe a high of 55 and a low of 20 but the warmest part of the day didn’t last long so pack accordingly!
