We really enjoyed our 3-day - 2-night stay at the Watchman Campground. It was a very easy experience to park our RV at the reserved spot, which talks really well about the park's logistics. Facilities like the Visitor Center and the restrooms were neat. Having a market, restaurants and showers just a bridge away from the campground also made our life easier.Regarding the trails, the experience was amazing, we hiked the Watchman, Riverside and Scout Look Out trails, and the 3 of them were unforgettable, we will definitely recommend our friends and family in Costa Rica on visiting Zion.Thank you very much for taking so good care of this lands!

It is so wonderful to be inside the Zion NP boundaries at Watchman. We stayed in three different sites; the regular sites were roomy and gave us elbow room. The B018a site gave us a place to sleep but no room to stretch. (How is this micro-type of site rated the same price as a full site?!) We are hopeful the campground next to Watchman, that is being remodeled, will offer showers for campers! Other than the micro-site and no shower facilities we do LOVE this campground and the easy access/proximity to all Zion NP offers.

About 5 minutes walk from restroom. Campsite has a little bit of shade in summer mid June. Very windy around 4am tills 7am in the morning. Cant cook anything with camp stove gas so windy. Dont expect so much privacy as you know this is a prime campground in Zion. Occasionally youll have neighbors who dont follow the camping rules. Be sure to take pictures after hours service incase if you have neighbors decide to be loud. This is advised and suggestions from camping hosts. Very helpful info. View you have canyon all around you. Shower is about 10min walk across the bridge Springdale. $4 for shower. At night camping with tent during summer can be very hot tills 1am. Overall cant complain. I will stay here again but more aware of weather.

Beautiful location, spacious campsites with plenty of distance between neighbors. Bathroom facilities were well maintained, and showers were close by in Springdale for a modest fee. Close walk to the Visitor's Center and the shuttle.

Awesome campground with super clean facilities and stunning views.

Pros:

Inside the park and about a 5 minute walk to the information center and shuttles.

Large sites with plenty of space, about half have ample shade (though I would recommend a shade tent if you can bring one and tarping off two walls for extra shade)

Restrooms were extremely clean

Wonderful views of the mountains

The Virgin River was great to get into after a long hot hike

Lots of restuaramts within walking distance or you can use the town shuttle.

Cons:

No showers on site (we did bring a shower tent and used it without soap to rinse off)

The ground is really hard so you will want tent spikes that are beefed up.

Some sites are sun all day so do homework ahead of time if you are going in the summer

Nice fairly level site in a well laid out campground. The 30 amp power in a National Park was very welcome as well.

The campground was very nice. Lots of space, with restrooms quite close. This place is beautiful.

Basic Campsite. Short walk to the store or rental place across the way. Sometimes the lights were off in the bathroom at night so bring a light just in case.
