The campground host was wonderful making sure everyone understood the campground rules. We were in two different sites and he helped us navigate the change.

Ive camped at Zion National Park several time and I think the Watchman Campground is fantastic! It has clean bathrooms that are super close to most pitch sites that are complete with a large sink to wash plates etc. The pitch sites are different in size but theyre spacious enough to accommodate 2 tents and a minivan. The sites fill up pretty quickly during the summer months so keep an early look out.

There are no showers at the Watchman Campground. It has very convenient access to the shuttle systems in Zion NP and the town of Springdale. The price of firewood locally is expensive if you ask me so I had no campfire. Phone service is spotty in the park. The restrooms were clean and the water was decent.Make sure you see the Emerald Pools, Canyon Overlook, the Riverside Walk and hike up to Scout Overlook if you cannot get an Angels Landing pass.

Excellent experience!! We visited in December so the campground wasnt as packed as I assume it is in the summer. Beautiful views during both sunrise & sunset. Very quiet and besides campfires, there werent many lights from fellow campers at night which made stargazing wonderful too. We will definitely be back!

Great campground in excellent location within walking distance of the Visitor Center and the town of Springdale. Camp sites are good; many have excellent views of Zion's beautiful rock formations.

We loved Watchman campground. We were close soybeans to walk to the visitors center and into springdale, but still felt like we were a million miles away from crowds.

Rode our eBikes up and down the canyon at Zion National Park. Stopped at Zion Lodge for ice cream. Enjoyed the ranger presentations in the evening. Also rode our eBikes downtown in Springdale.

Beautiful views all around! The campground was extremely clean and the spots were very roomy, not stacked on top of each other. There is water at the entrance, quick fill up and on to your spot. Can’t wait to come back!!

Great Location.. walking distance to Visitor Center and Springdale. Walking distance to shuttle also.
