Sites are raised up and pretty level but still can pool water. Bathrooms are good. Flush toilets and a sink outside for dishes. Not too far to walk to visitor center and get the shuttle or walk to rent gear for the narrows. We had a great time and would definitely go back! Didn't need the electricity but was nice to be able to charge phone.

It is breathtakingly beautiful. I use to hike there, but now due to age and disabilities, I can only bike. Thank goodness for the shuttle bus to get me up canyon and then I can slowly ride back and take in the vistas. It makes my heart sing and my soul rejoice!

We were there on an unseasonably cold night, we did not spend much time outside of our camper. Bathroom was very clean and WARM! We loved the trail to the visitor center and the dog friendly trail to the canyon junction. We had to trade off our time exploring the park because of the dog and that was a delightful distraction.

Watchman @ Zion NP is my favorite campsite of the National Parks we have been to. The restrooms are clean and the scenery is magnificent. This was our second visit and would recommend and visit again and again!

Staying at Watchman Campground in Zion National Park was like finding a hidden gem in nature. The place is surrounded by lush greenery that perfectly blends with the incredible red rock scenery of Zion. What stood out to me was how clean everything was. The campground is not only gorgeous but also surprisingly quiet, letting you soak in the sounds of nature without any distractions. Plus, the easy access to Zion's trails and viewpoints is a big bonus. What made our stay even better was how welcoming and friendly the hosts were. They really went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Highly recommend Watchman Campground for anyone looking to enjoy nature's wonders in a comfortable and friendly setting.

Major Issues

Our favorite camping spot but it has no showers and some of the bathrooms were closed due to staffing. It is kept clean. The shuttle is a short walk and a great way to see the park which unfortunately has become too over crowded. Shuttle service on town is great but the last shuttle is not posted and we ended up having to walk back to camp after dinner and a visit to our favorite gallery.

Nice campground, slightly hard to navigate due to its size - quite busy but the sites are nice and big.

Wonderful quiet campground. Having access to showers on-site would have been appreciated.

Great camp sites and clean bathrooms. Easy access to town and the Zion shuttle.

Everything else was good, but after the snow, it was inconvenient because there was a lot of mud in the campsite. I hope you lay sand.

Explore and use the pedestrian park entrance going to and from the campground to Springdale. Anything you might want or need is within a few minutes walk.

I read that this was the best campground in Zion, as it's beautiful and quiet and not too close to any roads. That was true, and we had such a wonderful time. Would stay again!

If I could give watchman a higher rating I would. We absolutely loved our stay there. It was beautiful, clean and serene. A walking distance to the pub and grocery. We will be back!!

Great campground! Stayed here with our two kiddos (3 and 5) for one night. Close to visitors center, Watchman trail and several others. Campground was clean and quiet with plenty of friendly campers around. Can't wait 'til next time!

Would have given 5 stars had we not found a squatter in our spot when we arrived late at night. Since self check-in was in place at that hour, I suppose some people take advantage of any 'available' site and just make themselves comfortable in it! Also, would have given 5 stars if the self check-in procedures were given via email prior to arrival (i.e., take the orange tag, place on dash, etc etc) instead of verbally on our day 2 of 3, and only because we chanced upon a park ranger.

The views are amazing and access to great trails is made easy via the shuttle system.

Overall, great park and very convenient to nearby town (walkable). Friendly and helpful staff and the shuttle buses takes the strain off the roads. Walks are accessible directly from the park which is convenient but also means the park gets extremely busy at peak times. You certainly won't feel remote but scenery is breathtaking and access is great!

Perfect place to visit Zion Park with an RV. Barbacue, table, and electricity. A lot of trees.
