Nice campground close to the visitor center and shuttle buses. I dont understand how most of the sites could have been booked earlier than 6 months, since they arent open for booking until 6 months before. Watch out for the mud if its been raining.

Visited for Feb 27-mar 2, 2023. Great campgrounds that had clean washrooms. Came in a rented camper van and facilities and ease of access to the park were great.

My wife and I had to cancel our trip to Mt. Tremblant Canada for some personal reason. Zion National Park is one destination on our bucket list so we immediately did our research. So within a few days before departure we were lucky to find a camp site that fitted with our schedule. We stayed at Watchman Camp for 3 nights, B26 for 2 nights and A21 for 1 night. We were lucky these two camp sites had 30A electrical hook up since it was warm when we were there. Our AC worked perfectly and we were spoiled. The rest rooms were clean. There was plenty of fresh water however there are no shower facilities here. The 9 pm nightly lectures were presented by the National Park camp counselor at the amphitheater were fantastic. First night the lecture was about plants of the park, second night was on Wilderness and third night was "Why Zion became National Park" and it was canceled because of the rain. There are so many different hikes from easy to extreme difficult that you can take on while at the park. The buses will take you around different starting point for the hikes. We brought our dog and there is only one hike that were allowed to have dog. Despite of the only hike that we can do, the view was stunning and we saw plenty of wild life, including quails, road runner, hawks, mule deer, ground squirrels and several species of lizards. It was like a living zoo in the wild. The Virgin river is right behind our camping sites and it was running with clear water. We did went in the water several times and it was a great experience since it was very warm during the day. We are looking to come back and tackle some of the hikes on our next trip to Zion. We are not bringing our dog next time. I ranked Watchman camp at Zion number one on my park list since I did not have any mosquito bite the entire time we were there. Mosquitos usually kill me alive at other parks. If you are camping without a RV just remember there are no shower facilities here.

Zion NP is a wonderful place. Staying in the Watchman Campground made seeing the park easy. Just a quick walk from the campground to the visitor's center and the shuttle stop. The campground was clean and well run.

This campground will not disappoint. The lots were pretty much level and the views were amazing. Bathrooms were clean and there was a water fill station and dump station near the entrance. The lack of showers is the only drawback but they do have hot showers outside the park at the zion outfitter store for 4$ for 5 minutes. All in all, this campground is amazing and I will be coming back again and again.

Overall amazing campground far enough from the entrance where you wont be woken up by the noise of cars entering the park and bathrooms a good distance from campsite.

We were at Watchman in Feb with our 5th wheel. You can fill your fresh water tank and dump grey and black water at the entrance to the campground. Full hook ups here mean Electric Only. I'm ok with that. We stayed a week so we didn't have enough water for showers unless we unhooked and went to refill. I would stay here again.Shower tip... walk across the bridge at the Visitors Center and use the Pay Showers at Zion Outfitters. The showers are clean, hot and affordable.

This site was absolutely spectacular. We tent camped (which I wouldn’t recommend in late February) but the location was gorgeous. The facilities, including electrical and bathrooms, were very well kept and worked wonderfully. I would highly recommend the lookout hike during sunset, which is right outside the tunnel driving into the park. I am confident that this will not be our last time at Watchman.
