Never a disappointment and easy walk to the shuttles.

This is a great place to stay for the price and location! The facilities were very clean. The most challenging part for me was which sites would accommodate my 26ft travel trailer and my 21ft Ram dually. We wanted to be in loop A or B for the electricity. However, looking at the map, you have no idea of site size. I also asked the rangers at the check in station for any recommendations for our setup and the available sites, but they had no helpful advice or suggestions. My only option was to drive the loops and look at the available sites that were listed on recreation.gov, then choose and book one. Luckily, going in December didn't have a full park and we had options. We ended up staying in two sites over our 7-8 days and B014 as well as B10 were perfect for us. We had light at&t cell service, but wasn't a big need for us as we also now run Starlink for internet. Will definitely stay here again!

Zion Watchman Campground is scenic, spacious and offers a terrific camping experience. That said the process for booking a site is very challenging, separates family wanting to camp together and the website provides little information about options. The campground was lightly staffed-frequently not staffed. The apparent closure of South Campground was puzzling, given the high demand for camping within the park. Lines into the park, both pedestrian and driving were long, parking fees in Springdale ($40 for near-park parking). Shuttles were sometimes overcrowded, ignored ADA concerns, and had poorly managed lines. It's a wonderful national park, but hampered by coordination of visitor needs and amenities.

I'm sorry, I had to cancel due to health reasons, I have not been refunded the reservation fee yet. I gave as much notice as I could. Hoping a refund is in the works.

We had B14. Nice size, close to bathroom. No place for hammocks. No campfires allowed when we were there due to high heat and fire hazard. Second stay at Watchman and would stay again! Great to be inside the park and walking distance to Visitors Center and Shuttle. Lots of River access points and path by the River. Enjoyed 2 Ranger programs.

Beautiful scenery. Dont skip the small trails. They are just as neat as the popular ones!

Read ahead on how to get on the shuttle. Do not be surprised.

This is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Our trip was in the winter, so it was cold, but I think that helped keep the crowds (it was crowded) from being as intense as it would be in warmer weather. Drive through the park! We had to pay $15 to take our RV through the tunnel -- it was well worth it. Archeology trail was awesome, and only two other hikers besides my son and me. Watchman trail was so crowded, it ruined the hike.
