Campground is very nice. There are dedicated dishes cleaning stations at the bathrooms. Downsides are the host was pretty rude and tried to play fire Marshal for fires that were not even that large, the drinking water near our site wasn't working, and people SPEED like crazy through that campground. We will definitely be back again, but it has room for improvement.

Nice camp. Cancellations kept opening up so we were able to book reservations we needed for our visit to Zion.

Great campground

Great location, easy to walk to the visitors center. Amazing views all around. Site was perfectly leveled. The only inconvenience was that the RV door gets slightly towards the restroom and the neighboring site. That said, wed stay at this site again without hesitation!Note that there are no public showers at Zion so you may need to dump grey water more frequently.

Very good campground. Close to the visitor center and the shuttle bus. Bathroom is so clean, with a washing station, campsites have electricity hookup, and also cell signal for t-mobile is useable - 4 things that most other national park campground dont have! Rangers are knowledgeable, camp hosts are friendly. Really enjoy the Watchman campground

Great access to the park and Springdale, convenient to shuttle so parking is not an issue. The sites are designed so that you dont feel crowded. A major expansion is underway in an adjacent campground.

The campground is beautiful. During our November visit, it was rare to see a park ranger at the entrance to the campground or monitoring the campground. However, the bathrooms were clean and the campsites themselves were on good shape.

Just perfect. Good location for hikes. A little bit crowded because of the bus tours. But this has nothing to do in regards to the campground.

This is a nice campground inside the park. It's very convenient for the shuttle bus and visitor center. Flush toilets were clean. The campsites are pretty close together, but not surprising given Zion's popularity.

It's always difficult to camp when there are no showers or places to wash up.

We were happy with this campground. The sites are well spaced with trees. During our visit, the Virgin River was running hard and fast from snowmelt. You could hear the river from the campground. Bathrooms are clean and spacious. Quick walk to the visitor center, shuttle buses inside the park and restaurants / shops / groceries just outside the park gates. Book your permits ahead of time for Angel's Landing.

Beautiful campground with very clean facilities.

We stayed in loop B. Bathrooms were closed. Site was damaged by rains earlier in the season. We camped in September and were surprised to have the blare of music from nearby commercial restaurants or bars. Not at all a wilderness experience or what I expect in a National Park.

Quiet campground - but stupid tourists. Some dont think posted signs are for them as they were using the outdoor water faucets as the personal Ganges River for bathing and the bathroom sinks for washing dishes. Gross.

This park is beautiful. There is so much wildlife from the river and the hikes are amazing.

More than half of the restrooms was closed completely.Very long ways to find a toilet. And several sinks were closed:-(Seems the staff did not want to clean too much :-(

Level site, electric hookup, public bathroom and water close by.Shuttle made getting around the park easy
@ChunfangS02F56 · Camped on Jun 23, 2022 at Campsite #B9
Nice and clean, with some shades. There is not much scenery to see around and a bit long to walk to the shuttle bus stop. The electric plugin is very handy for the AC in the RV. The central water and dump station are convenient to use.

While the setting of Watchman Campground is stunning, there were a few major issues with this campground. The bathrooms in our loop were closed, so we had to walk a distance to get to the nearest flush toilets. And our site was infested with ants and, yes... cockroaches. They were also all over the communal sink at night. As experienced campers, our food was safely stored away to limit attracting critters of any kind, but nonetheless these gross creepy crawlers were in our site as the sun went down every evening. Also the etiquette of fellow campers was appalling. We saw children playing wastefully in the drinking water fountain on numerous occasions, RV owners left their bright lights on all night, kids rode bicycles at full speed through our site, and several neighbors posted up chatting drunkenly IN OUR SITE. We were exasperated with this behavior and wished the rangers would have enforced normal camp expectations throughout. This did not affect our enjoyment of Zion as a park, but we won't be staying at this campsite again. As an avid camper, I would recommend a hotel or Airbnb over this site.Highlights: the awesome ranger talk we attended by Ranger MJ and the accessibility to the shuttles into the park.
