We picked our campsite to be close to one of the two restroom facilities. However, when we arrived, that facility was closed, and the open one was about 100 meters away. Minor inconvenience. On the plus side, it was very convenient to be able to take the 24 -7 open pedestrian entrance in and out of the park, and be an easy walk to the visitors' center.

Fantastic park for exploring Zion and surrounding area. Easy access with nice level camp sites. Only reason for 4 of 5 stars is some washrooms were closed, numerous water spigots were leaking, no shower facilities in park. We knew about the showers before hand and there are private pay as you go showers just outside of the park. Otherwise would stay again without hesitation!

Had an amazing time at Zion. We e-biked the scenic route, walked the riverwalk, and hiked the canyon view trail. Got some awesome pics. We also did a combo tour 3.5 hour UTV tour with Roam Adventure, ride, hike to the Great Chamber and Peek a Boo slot Canyon. Watchman campground never disappoints. Great memories made.

We had a wonderful time at Zion, and the campground was great. It was great to have the river right nearby, and we were also able to walk easily to Springdale and the Visitor Center to catch either shuttle.

Electricity!!! Great for AC in 108 degrees!
Wake up super early OR go to trails in the evening to beat the crowds. (And the heat)

Sites are a little close to each other. Clean bathroom but no shower.

Only issue- One of my camping neighbors decided to smoke marijuana - and sunk up the campground. VERY inconsiderate. I want to smell campfires, not that crap.

For my first time camping at Zion and camping in the wintertime, I'm glad it was at the Watchman Campground site, Loop A. It was conveniently located close to the Visitor Center, which made it easy to hike trails nearby or catch the shuttle bus. The campsite itself was easy to find, labeled well, open, and ready for us to set up. The only disappointment was finding the restroom our campsite was closest to closed, not sure why. Thankfully there was another open restroom located on the opposite side of the Loop A campground, which wasn't too inconvenient, just required a little bit of walking. The restroom was heated, which was a lifesaver since it started snowing that night and got quite cold. Make sure you take a headlamp with you because the restroom doesn't have any lights. The dishwashing area to the outside of the restroom had a clogged sink filled with food and water. It was usable but needed to be cleaned up. Waking up the next morning to the snow-covered rock formations was absolutely stunning. I would highly recommend camping at Watchman in the winter if you have an RV or camper. Tent camping is doable but more effort, especially if it snows. Overall great experience and worth the cost.

LOVE LOVE LOVED this campground! Great facilities, great staff! Extremely clean restrooms, well organized, plenty of room on our campsite. Enjoyed the Ranger programs in the evenings at the amphitheater. Great shuttle service and close to the Visitor's Center.

Be prepared no public showers in park.
But the bathroom facilities were neat and clean.

Campground was great, facilities very clean. Deer near camp seemed unhealthy though.

Great location, clean bathrooms (no showers), free potable water and dump station make this a great camping option especially for the price. Be prepared to grab your reservation immediately at 6 months in advance or you likely will not be able to get a spot.

Well-kept campground, although their bathrooms are out of order for some reason so you have to walk just a little further to get to the South Campground's bathrooms. Very close to the Watchman trail and right next to the visitor's center, making it extremely convenient. There are wild animals, so be careful about leaving out food and trash, but besides this I had an excellent experience camping here!
