Cool campground in proximity of the visitor center. After hour check-in was easy, also we had to switch campsites for the next night so we made use of the overflow parking on loop B while hiking in the park. Toilets were clean

I highly recommend Watchman campground especially if you want to use the bus system to go explore Zion National Park. We were just a short walk to the bus station. We were in campsite A029. It was level and there was electricity, except for a few hours when the whole area was without electricity. However it was difficult to get a reservation, there was no-one to check us in when we got there and even our camp host was away most of the time while we were there. I assume someone drove thru the campground checking license plates to make sure we were in the right campsite. The bathrooms were clean. And the whole area seemed clean. I would stay again and would recommend it to my friends that want to explore Zion.

We had a wonderful time at Watchman Campground. It's right near the Visitor Center and shuttles, as well as the Zion Brewery and Narrows gear rentals. You can also rent a bike nearby. We enjoyed sitting by the river during the afternoons and evenings to cool off from the summer heat. Sites were clean and well maintained. We will be back again!

great setting between the trees and the high cliffs. Very good facilities and close to the shuttle bus. The locations for the RV were excellent, levelled and spacious with a good bench and table.

Great location for our family over Spring Break - it was definitely very helpful to be inside the park and close to the line up for the parks' bus system.

Ms. Reenie is the sweetest camp host ever! Camp was nice and bathrooms super clean. Great views from the camp site. Camp was close and walking distance to VC where tu can catch the shuttle.

Easy to reserve, find our spot, and access amenities. Enjoyed the beautiful view and had no issues on the whole. Would be nice if they could add showers and give instructions on how to leave/return the campground after ZNPs front gate hours.

We booked this campsite because of the proximity to Zion Canyon during spring break. Very disappointed that the shuttle service wasn't working during one of their busiest times. I would not have booked a trip to Zion (specifically this campsite) not knowing the shuttles weren't working, especially with a family of 6. Recommending better communication between the campground and the national park so people are aware of this before showing up and also recommend making this VERY clear on the booking website....like a giant red banner or something that you have to acknowledge before you book. The shuttle service operation will make or break your experience.

Our campsite was great, clean and level. It was very roomy, room for our 32 RV, a big tent and a pop-up shade. We wish the bathroom right next to our site wouldve been open. The other one was open and very nice and clean-flush toilets. We noticed some pull throughs by the river that looked nice, too. We camped in A029.

Nice site. Easy access to bathrooms. Liked the availability of a sink to wash dishes.
There should be a better program in place to control the deer. They wander into camp and rummage through campsites and picnic tables with absolutely no fear of humans whatsoever. I understand that the campers should not harm them but the result is that the deer have no fear and are out of control. A program to instill some fear of humans (developed by a animal behavior biologist) should be implemented for the sake of the deer. Animal control experts have been doing this for years in areas where local wildlife roam into neighborhoods with no fear of humans.

A29 is a really great spot if you’re bringing a 2nd vehicle; there are two side-by-side parking spaces. There’s lots of shade compared to some other sites, as well, but you can’t really go wrong with any of the spots in Watchman CG!

The campsite did a good job dealing with Covid and keeping people informed. Campsite was clean as well as all areas we went to.

This was a beautiful, well-kept campground. The scenery was spectacular, the grounds and facilities were clean, and it was secure and affordable.

Watchman campground is one of the best experienced we had with my family. But I wish they will have a public shower inside the camp that's the only downfall but the rest of our stay is perfect!!!
