Camping at Watchman Campground was the perfect way to experience Zion. The views of the red cliffs were stunning, and being just a short walk from the visitor center and shuttle made exploring the park super easy. Our site had electric hookups, a picnic table, and a fire ring, and the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. It was a bit crowded, but the convenience and scenery more than made up for it. Definitely book earlythis place fills up fast!

It was a beautiful time to visit the park. The campground was clean and very well maintained by the efficient and friendly staff. Camping here should be on everyone's bucket list.

Campground was very clean and the camp spots had a nice amount of space between them. A 2 minute walk to and across a bridge takes you out of the park to shops and a brewery with great food. There is also a rental shop for bikes and water gear for hiking the Narrows. Also, the Watchman trailhead starts near the campground and is a great starter hike with a nice view.

Loved this campground. We could walk to hikes, the shuttle, the village and town. The sites were clean, spacious and quiet. Would highly recommend this campground to anyone. We really enjoyed our stay.

The physical beauty is beyond words and pictures. We were impressed by the quality of the in-the-park amenities and the amazing organization (especially the shuttles). There are lots of people, but because of the size of the place and the number of places to explore, we never felt crowded. We hope to go back when the pools and the weeping rocks are open.

The campground was better than I had hoped for. Our spot across the way from the Virgin River and steps from the restroom and amphitheater was nearly perfect. There was plenty of space for us to park our 30' trailer and park our truck. We had originally planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up extending for 2 more nights. We visited in the off season so it wasn't very populated- it was very quiet and we had lovely sunny weather. We hiked on the river path and stopped in at the visitors center where staff was very helpful answering our questions about the tunnel. We had great 5G coverage which was important to us because we needed to work while we were there. We didn't find we needed to try our Starlink although I don't think we would have been able to get a consistent signal due to trues and mountains. We liked the proximity of the town of Springdale and all of the pricy amenities there. You'll want to plan to bring in your food as even basic grocery prices were outrageous even for a resort type town. The other campers were friendly but not intrusive and we enjoyed a very relaxing camp experience- just what we needed. We like the fact that there was a dump station and potable water fill up area as we exited the park- very convenient. There weren't lines when we needed to use it however in the height of the season I can imagine there would be some back up. I can't think of anything negative to say or anything that could have been improved on. Quite literally an exceptional experience.

Beautiful campground near the Virgin river. Large and even spot, with trees for shade which you really need during summer. Close to entrance and shuttlebus. Clean toilets and interesting rangerprograms. Tip: when you're not in for cooking, across the river is a nice restaurant with good food and local beers!

While you visit the Grand Canyon to soak up the beauty and awe of the Canyon itself, it should NOT take almost three hours to get your campsite ( that was reserved almost a year ago.)
Once, finally assigned a campsite, arriving and finding the picnic table sits within two feet of the neighbors sewer attachment , back to Yavapi Lodge to secure a different site. On site check in was experiencing computer issues.
If you are planning on hanging at campsite, go to other campground in park.
Rent e-bikes if you don’t travel with yours, trails are beautiful, and wind throughout the park and along the rim. The best part of our stay!
