Zion is spectacular. The campground is sufficient but could be better with modest changes, open the comfort stations, no reason to close them, the other 4 NP in Utah are all open. Otherwise great stay, other than someone stole my outdoor light. So secure your gear.

Had a great time staying in the campground, but it was CROWDED in the park on the weekend. I strongly suggest visiting during the week if possible, and even then there will be a lot of people.

Enjoyed the ranger program in the evening. Park was quiet. Showers would be an added amenities that would be greatly appreciated. Convenient walk to Springfield.

Clean campground located close to visitors center , hiking trails , restaurants, and stores with epic views ! Also ,its great that dogs are allowed which is why I chose to stay here but noticed dog poop around the campground which means some owners are not picking up after their dogs. This is at no fault of the park but of irresponsible people. Other than that I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Zion and a big part of that was Watchman campground. We were very pleased to have electric hookups and that we could have a campfire. The location of the campground was perfect. It was close to the amenities of town as well as the park. The campsites were very clean and neat and well-spaced.

Excellent camp site, close to everything. Shops and dining around the corner, park and city shuttles a stroll away. Got lucky and booked this last minute (likely due to a cancellation.) Overall a very nice campground. And the scenery and park is breathtaking. Can't wait to go back!

The site was clean and facilities were adequate. Quiet hours are not enforced and the campsite was lit up with other campers extensive lighting systems and headlights.

We reserved our campsite in Loop D 6 months in advance and Sue enough, everything went well with check in. We loved our site which was quiet, sunny with some nice shade and close enough to the restrooms. We decided to stay a couple of extra days and used recreation.gov to score other campsites for those extra nights. Watchman is a wonderful campground- nicely situated sites and close to the shuttle bus. The restrooms are also kept very clean and tidy. Our only complaint is that the 10pm -7am quiet time needs to be reinforced. There was group camping nearby that was quiet loud, drinking and swearing well last 10pm. Wit didn’t bother us that much as we were far enough away but I felt bad for the campers nearby. Other than this, we loved staying at Watchman!

Very clean and very well organized campground. Great location! Just walk to the Visitor Center and hop on a bus that takes you anywhere in the park. Zion NP is a very well organized park. We have enjoyed it very much.

Love this campground. Great spot with easy access to the canyon either by trail or car and also walking distance to some businesses in town. Campsite is quiet and scenic with nice trees and near the stream. We walked to the brewery for dinner. Only drawback is that I dont know why they are allowing people to pay for campground reservations in the winter but bathrooms are closed. If campground is open, bathrooms should be open, regardless of time of year. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

I really enjoyed my stay at Watchman. While reservations can be hard to find- checking back constantly for reservations was the best route to grab a few nights for our stay in early October. Staying inside the park and not having to deal with parking makes things so much less stressful. The campgrounds itself were great- spacious spots, spaced out from other sites, easy access to bathrooms. The bathrooms themselves were clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed here only one night (caught it on a cancellation) and arrived late around 8pm. It's very easy to find, and we were just in time to catch a ranger led program talking about the stars and light pollutions, and it was really cool! The site is well maintained, has great access to the clean bathroom, water, and a sink. We did tent camping, so used the electricity only to boil some water which is still nice. We were right next to the visitor center's parking lot, and the morning busy traffic woke us pretty early, although we did intent to get up early anyway. It's a RV site, and I'm sure the noise should not be nearly as bad inside an RV, but may still be a concern to some.

Excellent being inside the park and walking distance to the shuttle stop. A bit of noise carries over from the brewpub in Springdale, but generally very peaceful and beautiful setting.

Amazing campsite book early as these spots fill up fast and book your shuttle tickets far in advance. Only negative is there are no showers but you can pay $5 for a shower at the outfitters right next to the visitors center.
