Zion is spectacular. The campground is sufficient but could be better with modest changes, open the comfort stations, no reason to close them, the other 4 NP in Utah are all open. Otherwise great stay, other than someone stole my outdoor light. So secure your gear.

Had a great time staying in the campground, but it was CROWDED in the park on the weekend. I strongly suggest visiting during the week if possible, and even then there will be a lot of people.

Enjoyed the ranger program in the evening. Park was quiet. Showers would be an added amenities that would be greatly appreciated. Convenient walk to Springfield.

Clean campground located close to visitors center , hiking trails , restaurants, and stores with epic views ! Also ,its great that dogs are allowed which is why I chose to stay here but noticed dog poop around the campground which means some owners are not picking up after their dogs. This is at no fault of the park but of irresponsible people. Other than that I would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Zion and a big part of that was Watchman campground. We were very pleased to have electric hookups and that we could have a campfire. The location of the campground was perfect. It was close to the amenities of town as well as the park. The campsites were very clean and neat and well-spaced.

Excellent camp site, close to everything. Shops and dining around the corner, park and city shuttles a stroll away. Got lucky and booked this last minute (likely due to a cancellation.) Overall a very nice campground. And the scenery and park is breathtaking. Can't wait to go back!

The site was clean and facilities were adequate. Quiet hours are not enforced and the campsite was lit up with other campers extensive lighting systems and headlights.

We reserved our campsite in Loop D 6 months in advance and Sue enough, everything went well with check in. We loved our site which was quiet, sunny with some nice shade and close enough to the restrooms. We decided to stay a couple of extra days and used recreation.gov to score other campsites for those extra nights. Watchman is a wonderful campground- nicely situated sites and close to the shuttle bus. The restrooms are also kept very clean and tidy. Our only complaint is that the 10pm -7am quiet time needs to be reinforced. There was group camping nearby that was quiet loud, drinking and swearing well last 10pm. Wit didn’t bother us that much as we were far enough away but I felt bad for the campers nearby. Other than this, we loved staying at Watchman!

Very clean and very well organized campground. Great location! Just walk to the Visitor Center and hop on a bus that takes you anywhere in the park. Zion NP is a very well organized park. We have enjoyed it very much.

We had beautiful weather for December 60 deg. days full Sun. The day after we left though the Weather changed with lots of Rain. By that time I was in Arizona. We have been to Zion 11 times the camp is very nice. We were in A005 an ADA spot and it is a very nice and accessible.....

We stayed in site A005 in early April. The site gets a little shade and backs up to both the river and the visitors center parking lot....you can walk across the lot to catch the tram, visit the store (the store carries literally every grocery and camping item you could ever want), and the cafe. On check out day, we parked early in the lot, walked 50 steps to the tram and got in an extra morning at the park. It is a great site that is conveniently located and with amazing views of watchman and you can hear the river at night. The kids enjoyed a lot of river time..the stretch nearest the site had lots of rocks for jumping and trees. There is a small open field the site backs up to and we had a herd of deer that came in the evenings to graze there...super cool kid wow factor. Important to note that if you are bringing an RV, there is enough room for a tent but not a large one....12x12 max. There are larger sites on the riverfront with more space between neighbors but overall, this was a wonderful site.

We had a fantastic time. Each campsite was clean, level, and plenty big. The bathrooms were well-kept and the whole campground was quiet and peaceful. Showers are available across the river at Zion Outfitters ($4 for 5 min). We also had a good time renting electric bikes at Zion Cycles up the road and would recommend them.

Very nice campground. As visitors to the park - please put out your campfires completely. We had to put out a campfire on our visit.

I'm a backpacker who generally hates camping near anyone else so I was skeptical about how the trip would go. The very second that our wheels touched the campgrounds property I began to rethink my entire life. The words i could use to describe the views would be lame compared to the actual beauty. We snagged the last available site, assuming we would only be there to sleep and didn't care that it seemed to be a sub par view in comparison to others..........that was all as big of a mistake as me thinking I wasn't gay. Every single inch of this Campground have a TO DIE FOR view. With 3 beautiful trails, a small market, a brew-pub, HEATED AND CLEAN bathrooms, a river and 3 popular trails all in walking distance, I was pretty close to glamping heaven. Shoot, if you drive another 10 minutes, you are in the center of a bougie little tourist town with all the coffee, ice cream and wine you can imagine. There is no doubt that I'll be back to this place again!!! I just hope it asks me.to post photos on the next page

Love this campground. Great spot with easy access to the canyon either by trail or car and also walking distance to some businesses in town. Campsite is quiet and scenic with nice trees and near the stream. We walked to the brewery for dinner. Only drawback is that I dont know why they are allowing people to pay for campground reservations in the winter but bathrooms are closed. If campground is open, bathrooms should be open, regardless of time of year. We will definitely be back as soon as we can.

I really enjoyed my stay at Watchman. While reservations can be hard to find- checking back constantly for reservations was the best route to grab a few nights for our stay in early October. Staying inside the park and not having to deal with parking makes things so much less stressful. The campgrounds itself were great- spacious spots, spaced out from other sites, easy access to bathrooms. The bathrooms themselves were clean. I would definitely recommend staying here!
