Love this campground! The only reason i gave this campground 4 stars is because the nearer bathrooms were closed but the other bathrooms were clean and had light. Very beautiful views and saw some deer close up at night. I would definitely come back!

Great space between sites. Electricity was key even in the fall in order to run the A/C at times. A loop was good and close to the Visitors Center in order to catch the shuttle. Nice in the park campground still walkable to Springdale across the river.

Great camping spot. Clean restrooms and the night ranger program was very interesting and informative.

My favorite campground! We have traveled from PA for the 3rd time! Making reservations 6 months in advance can be a little be of a challenge but we love this NP

Campsite itself is nice enough. Unfortunately, it's so close to the town of Springdale, which has zero respect for the park. They leave the bright string lights on all night, which are pretty bright - enough to interfere with the supposed Dark Sky status of the park. Also, they were playing live, amplified music when we were there. When I camp at a national park, I don't want to hear booming bass while i'm winding down for the night.

Gourgious views 24/7. Close access to the river and to the visitor center. The shuttles are a realitively short walk away, so you don't have to worry about fighting for parking.I understand the Rangers can't micromanage campers all day to be considerate and follow the rules, so it's luck that ensures your neighbors are good campers.

We stayed in one of the private campsites in loop a first and it was nice. With power and easy walk to restrooms which were kept in top shape. Then move to a group campsite in loop f. Campsite itself was very nice but It would have been nice to have electricity. It was also unclear when booking whether there was parking or not for the car. Turns out there was but it was in a group parking lot beside the camping area. Overall very happy with campsite and convenience of the location.

A nice quiet clean campground that is reasonably priced and has spacious spots. We loved our stay here. The bathrooms were clean, never crowded (even though the campground was fully booked) and had everything you need. It is in walking distance to the visitor center, the bus stop, and Springdale. We are from Germany so we did not have a US calling plan or data for our mobile phones and there is no wi-fi at the campground, so walk the 5 minutes to the Zion Canyon Brew Pub (just outside the pedestrian gate), buy a drink and use their free wi-fi (and enjoy the sunset looking at the Watchman peak)! Next door is Zion Outfitter where you can shower for a few dollars. Again, we loved our stay here and recommend it - stay at least 3 nights to get the most out of this beautiful park.

Campsites were spacious and spread out pretty good. The site amenities were kept clean and stocked. They have a bookstore/shop that had a lot of great buys. There was cell service at the campground if you need it (we had Verizon). Camp host was very helpful as well. If youre going to do the trails I suggest leaving early because of parking at each spot can be rough. Beautiful area and lots of trails. Would definitely come back again.

Watchman campground is so amazing and hands down the best national park campground weve ever stayed in. The sites are extremely spacious, pretty private, level, and easy to back into. Zion is just such an amazing national park and the shuttle system makes it so easy to navigate! We will certainly be back! Also there is great cell service for any of my fellow remote workers out there!

Watchman Campground has a ton of potential for being amazing. The river is accessible and was such a treat with the hot weather. Our family really enjoyed the river. We saw lots of deer, including young twins and their mom. We had deer visit our campsite as we were heading to bed one night. The bathrooms were clean as well as the sinks and spouts to get water. The campers were great, the views were breathtaking. There were a few snags. We stayed 2 nights in A003 and we did have a bit of shade. For some reason, the bathrooms right next to us were closed which was a blessing and bummer. We did not get much sleep for a few reasons. The globe lights by the pools at nearby Cable Mountain Lodge were on for the duration of the night and disrupted our sleep. The person next to us had a huge RV and an LED light to illuminate their flag that was on all night disrupting our sleep. Huge bummer. Why do we need to see your flag all night? The ideal of being part of nature was just not there with all of these lights on. We were right next to the day use parking lot and people arrived before the sun was up, blasting us with their headlights and many times, people set off car alarms repeatedly. In the future, I will not choose sites close to the parking lot.I hope my next visit to Watchman Campground goes better next time

We set our tent at loop A3 which is good because it is near to the restroom and faucet. I should have given 5 if the campground includes shower amenities. The trails are just nearby that you can just walk or use the shuttle to go explore the Zion National Park. Views are amazing…must see!
