The campground is conveniently close to the Visitor Center and to the city of Springdale, which is a major advantage when you don't have full hookup. The restrooms were really clean. The dumping station was also close to the camping sites and worked well. The view is amazing. The biggest issue is the lack of showers in the campground.

We had spot A02, it was nice and roomy. They need to do a better job of diverting water so the campground doesn't become a mud hole when it rains. Our spot was ok, but other spots people were wading in ankle deep mud.

Het was druk, de RV kon niet op de parkeerplaats en we konden gelijk de camper op de plaats zetten heel erg fijn!Hele goede uitvalsbasis voor Zion! Dikke aanrader

the primitive trail is a nice challenge - but don't underestimate the parts that need some climbing- if you do it clockwise it is more difficult to find and follow the signs to stay on trail; great experience!

We stayed here in October. Very nice site on the corner intersection. Across from the bathrooms which is nice but was closed while we were there. A bit disappointed about this due to the fact it is so hard to get reservations in this campground...absolutely full campground and bathrooms are closed. We spoke with the camp host and she said that the "Big Bosses" cut personnel which in turn causes shutdowns of certain amenities. Not enough personnel to clean the bathrooms. There was another one available to walk to but why cut amenities when you have 100% occupancy. Shuttle bus wait wasn't too bad...around 15 minutes or so at the visitor center. Easy walk from this campsite to the visitor center.

The site was nice but I picked that site because of the proximity to the bathroom, and that one was closed all 3 days we were there. However, the bathroom we went to instead was clean and updated. Other than the closed bathroom, our experience at Watchman was great!

The campground was full. Im in space 2A. I picked this spot because I solo camp and like to be near that restroom. The restroom was closed. How can you think its okay to have the campground full and the bathroom closed meaning you either go in a bush in the middle of the night or walk a far way to get to another restroom. This is not okay.

We were, again, very pleased with the watchman campground. this time we had site 002 on A loop.
It had some shade to sit on the table.
Nearest site to the visitor center and the shuttle bus.
We hope to come back in the future. We are from Germany.

Beautiful campground with many sites that will accommodate larger rigs. Sites are flat and easy to back into. Quick walk to town, the visitor center and the shuttle bus.

Extremely scenic and well kept campground. Clean facilities. We arrived late and left early so did not encounter any staff, check in instructions were clear and easy to follow. Would highly recommend this campground if you are visiting Zion. Incredible views, close proximity to the shuttle and scenic drive, I wish we could have stayed another night.

Our family visited Zion National park in late March and the weather was awesome. Watchman campground was perfect for the family. Sites were easily accessible with a 31 foot class c motorhome and had 30/50amp service. Potable water and sewage dump was conveniently located at the entrance to the campground as well. There was plenty to do in and around the campground. Walking distance to kid friendly hikes and very close to the free shuttle. Just outside the campground there was a restaurant, convenient store , bike rentals, and gift shop. Sites do book many months in advance so plan accordingly. We will definitely be back

Just such a breath taking campsite. Was in A1 which was so close to everything you need. Easy walk to shuttle and shops which was a plus. The site was full of hilarious squirrels and deer, wish I had stayed longer than 1 night.
