This was an incredible campsite. We Stayed on the C Loop for one sight and the B Loop for two. The Virgin river went right past our campsite on the B Loop, it was only ankle deep and pooled up in places so we took our chairs out and put our feet in the water. The views are amazing everywhere you go, and watchman point is towering above. Spring Dale is very easy to get to, I would highly recommend renting bikes for an even bike right down the park road past all the bus stops. The Canyon lights up and you get the best views from the bikes, since only buses and bikes can go back on the canyon road. I also recommend doing Angles Landing, and the Narrows. If you miss the early permit for Angels Landing apply for the daily lottery, a good percentage of people get accepted. Also try and do the before 9am, and go as early as possible(first bus as 6am) to avoid lines, and you'll start your day in the shade if you go early enough. Don't forget about the Narrows, you can do a good portion of it without a permit using the buses. Again go early. We rented boots from town and talking sticks and they were very kind, you can also rent from the visitor center. I will say the town was great because we rented for the next day, but last minute got a permit for Angels Landing and they let us keep the gear an extra day no charge. Not sure how accommodating the visitor center would have been for that. This trip was amazing and we had a blast. If your dates are already reserved just keep watching, we found our site last minute, people are always dropping them. Have a blast!

The river was lovely and being able to walk to the shuttle was so easy but there was absolutely no shadow on our campsite and a lot of neighbors were noisier than usual in national parks.

The campground is well maintained and absolutely beautiful. We had a problem with our electrical post, and a repairman came out to fix it within 30 minutes. The shuttle system ran smoothly and well I just can't imagine a better overall experience.

Great site! Convenient to be in the park and catch the early buses to hikes. Beautiful view of the Watchmen Mountain!

My husband and I enjoyed our spot at Watchman. We were pleasantly surprised at the amount of space between our campsite and others around us. The walking path along the water to the visitors center made commuting between our site, the town shuttle and the park shuttle very pleasant. Walking distance was also a restaurant, a general store and other shopping stores. We will definitely camp there again.

The campground was beautiful and clean. The convenience of being right next to the visitor center can’t be beat!

Such a great campground. Sites are quite large and far enough apart to be pretty private. Fill your water tank at the spigots available at the campground restrooms and you’re good to go. Cell service is great with all the big services (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon). Park service employees are awesome. I always have a great experience at Watchmen.

Nice level areas for RV's, great spacing, one is not right at an adjoining camper's elbow. Clean restrooms are fairly conveniently spaced. Great fire pit and picnic table. We liked the river trail to the visitor's center. Over all, an excellent facility. A word to the wise, make reservations as far ahead as possible, we were only able to stay one night due to not making reservations early enough. The commercial RV park in town was expensive, crowed and close quarters.
Over all, I highly recommend Watchman campground, a great experience at a great price.

We love camping at Zions. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because there were several campers around us with small barking dogs whenever anyone walked by the campsites...or rode their scooters...which was all of the time. I don't understand why campgrounds don't say "no dogs." We have a dog that we would love to bring with us, but we don't so that other campers aren't bothered by our adorable pooch.

When you're enjoying a nice relaxing reading in the swinging hammock, but another round of barking starts up, it really ruins the ambiance. :(
