One of the most beautiful places weve ever been. If you are traveling to the park from the east be warned the tunnel has a size restriction and you will need to make arrangements to transit . The campground sites were spacious and we liked them even though there was no water. We expected showers in the restrooms but were disappointed that werent any. The only water was next to the sewer dump site so fill up before you arrive if you can. The river is next to the campground and we enjoyed several beautiful walks with mule deer sightings. We were there Dec 2 for four nights , perfect time to miss the crowds, and we are already planning our return trip. Zion is a must see .

My trailer and truck fit nicely into the site. (30ft trailer, 20ft truck). This site had no shade, but was a little spread out from the other sites. We were at Zion for 7 nights and the truck hardly moved as we walked where we needed to go, which was made it very convenient as we were close to town and the bus. We visited over 4th of July and the park including the bus system was over crowded, which made for a long wait to get to the trails. Make sure you rent the shoes and socks and do as much of the narrow trail as you can. The camp hosts were awesome!

Campground was clean. Sites are small with limited privacy. Bathrooms were clean and well kept. Great proximity for walking to VC/shuttle and downtown.

Nice level site, very clean facilities, pleasantly surprised that we had a 30A electrical service available at our site and it was very conveniently located to Springdale, and especially the brewery!

It is always a pleasure to stay at Watchman. The most difficult issue is actually getting the reservation. The sites are taken so fast and they dont all seem to release the actual 6 months.

The woman volunteer who put out reservation tags was wonderful to chat with and she gave us great tips for things to see in the surrounding area. We were stunned at the long line fir the shuttles but they added extra busses in the afternoon. We drove to the east side of the park and did a fun slickrock hike we found in a guidebook. It was not an official park trail but was well traveled.

What a wonderful place to stay. It was hot while we were there. Excellent location so close to the Zion Shuttles, and Springdale. Highly recommended!

Nice level sites with good shade. Facilities are super clean and staff friendly. Reservations are months out from your planned trip. Would definitely recommend doing all the hikes in the park.

Nice campground. We stayed in B loop. Level sites, spaced out so they are fairly private. Nights were pretty quit. Short bike ride to visitor center to catch the Zion shuttle. Close to town. Bathrooms are nice, but was surprised that there were no showers.

Location, location, location. What can you say. Absolutely beautiful. Daily visits by the resident locals (deer) and clean facilities. Bring bikes because the shuttle lottery is tough and bikes will give you so much more freedom to tour the park.
