Nice experience and campground. Only negative was fire pit was full of ashes, even though we did not have a fire. Occasionally wind gust would blow ashes toward our trailer.Zion canyon shuttle and walks were beautiful.Hope to return for a longer stay.

While some campsites are close and this may be a turn-off for some I was pleasantly surprised how little it mattered. The campground was quiet with spectacular views. It was awesome to be able to walk to the visitor center, shuttles, and even take a bike ride into town to grab a post-hike ice cream. I would 100% stay at Watchman's for our next trip.

We loved our campout at Watchman! Sites were big - like, spread a tarp and still have room to kickback big. Bonus points for 50amp hookup for our glamping dreams. Feeling the cool river wind and hearing its lullaby each night was unforgettable. And talk about convenience! Visitor center, shuttles, and epic trails - all a hop, skip, and jump away. Whether you're craving Canyon Overlook views or Narrows wades, Watchman puts you front and center for Zion magic. Just be prepared for some friendly squirrels - they're expert camp-snack sniffers! Highly recommend!

Excellent campground! Most of the sites are nicely spaced apart, creating lots of privacy, with plenty of room. The sites along the edges seem the best. We camped in B loop, site 52 which was awful - don't book it, I want it available for myself - ha ha. Seriously, 52 was great! Along the river, a nice big tree for shade, but open space also for our Starlink, but it is a back in site. Plenty of space for our 28 ft MH and our Jeep. If you need a larger pull through 54 was huge! The CG was quiet at night - probably bc many people were rising early to go hiking. It is within walking distance to the shuttle stop at the Visitor's Center - if you need to drive and park, get there early or it is full all day long. Shuttles run VERY frequently throughout the day. FYI, many restrooms were closed for maintenance, including the B loop bathroom. I'm so glad we got lucky and were able to book this site about a month before - must have been a cancellation. Zion is so gorgeous, don't miss it just because it gets crowded.

Great campground with amazing views of the Zion canyon cliffs, access to the Virgin River and a peaceful relaxed setting close to town and an easy walk to the shuttle terminal. We only stayed for 3 nights and now I want to stay for a week or more next time.

The camp grounds we great! Electrical outlets were convient. Lots of space, your own table and fire area made for a great experience. We went during winter season, would be smart to call ahead and try to figure out what restrooms are open, only 3 of the 6 were open and with my luck I picked a spot close to a restroom that was closed. It was honestly no biggy as there was another restroom not far off. But can be undesirable if it's freezing or snowing haha. Camp ground is walking distance from giftshop and some small trails that have good views. Would definitely book a spot here again.

Beautiful views, easy accessibility to everything Zion/Springdale. Super great vibe. (the masks on the shuttles being the only exception - it would be nice if there was an alternative to the shuttle)

Wonderful campground. The best views of the mountains all around. The only down side for this campground is there are no showers.

When camping at Watchman Campground, you are away from the crowds. You camp within the beautiful, natural surroundings of Zion National Park. You have easy access to the visitors center, shuttles and some trails. Or you can bike ride or ride the shuttle up the Zion Canyon Scenic Drive to many other hiking trails. The scenery on that drive is some of the most beautiful you will ever see. Or you can drive through the tunnel to the East side and more awesome scenery and hiking trails. And all of the hiking trails are equally as amazing and beautiful. Although, if your in an RV, you only have electrical hook-up. However, water is available at the entrance to the campground along with a dump. It's an awesome camping experience!

We loved Watchman campground. No water, but we did have electricity which helped with the morning coffee. The sites were clean and there were lots of cottonwood trees which provided shade. No concrete pads but clean gravel and lots of space between units.

Unlike the "South Campground," Watchman had good security.

The dump station and water fill stations were clean and easily accessible. As far as we are concerned, Watchman is the only way to see Zion if you are camping. Just be sure to book six months in advance. You'll love it.

Watchman Campground is very nice - large sites, quiet, views of surrounding peaks, and electrical hookup for RVs (so no generator noise). It's next to the visitor center and the shuttle bus loading area, so it's convenient.

Zion, Great park for hiking. Having an RV spot at Watchman at the front of the park was a great experience. Electric hook up was available at our camp site, but no other hook ups. Still so worth it and it’s not that big a deal to clean out and refill every 3-4 days or so for the excellent view. We stayed 8 days and were never bored. Will return in 1 to 2 years for a repeat trip.

Zion has been by far our favorite National Park. The Watchman was located perfectly for us to explore the park and visit Bryce National Park as well. We travel with our dogs and the park thoughtfully included one nice trail to hike with them. Many park won’t even let them out of the car.
