Met the campground host a couple times wonderful people. Easy walk or bike ride to the visitor center, and even to the town nearby. The Ranger at the check-in station was wonderful also, Very informative. A family of deer in the campground did not care that I was there. Stayed there in January bathrooms were very warm.

The campground was very close to the visitor center and the Watchman Campground. The bathrooms were nice and clean and there was a sink for all to wash dishes which was nice.

It is a beautiful place and I honestly think that the photos do not do justice to the beauty of the place, a wonderful place

Very beautiful and peaceful camping. Make sure to bring a tent that can stand on itself because we were not able to get any pickets into the stony ground.

Great location with stunning views, and short walk to the shuttle busses that takes you either into the national park or further south into the city of Springdale.

Always make a reservation ahead of time if you want a guaranteed spot. Everyone respects quiet hours and the view is always perfect.

Nice and clean campground directly in the Zion NP. We really enjoyed our 7 night stay here with great link to the shuttle bus system!

Big campground, no shade, and close to shuttle. We hiked the narrows and emerald pools. My advise would be to make sure you have a lot of water and try to hike early. Also parking is hard to find so try and get the campground for your whole stay.

We stayed in D-12. Great flat spots for tents. Fire rings and a picnic table. Close to the restroom. If you are a light sleeper pick another spot you can hear the air dryer from camp. We lived it. It was. A great alarm clock!

I loved staying at Watchman campground! We were here mid April and stayed a night in the RV area (Section A) by the Virgin River and two nights in Tent only camping (Section D). Both were great campsites! There is a walking path that is paved and is along the campground side of the Virgin River and seems like a pleasant stroll. At our site by the river, I fell asleep at night listening to the calming sound of rushing water. What I liked best about this campground is that it is very clean. Even though the campground was full and all sites booked, the bathrooms were very clean and had enough toilet paper and hand soap. Also the campsites were nicely covered in beautiful small red rock gravel and kept the dust and dirt down, and there wasn't any mud. The thick layer of small gravel made it easy to spike down the tent and sunshade. South campground and Watchman campground do not have showers but paid showers are available right outside Zion Park in Springdale. We could easily walk to the free Zion shuttle buses from our campsite and this allowed us to enter early and save time when going into the park. I highly recommend Watchman campground and now understand why it is so popular and fills up quickly!

One of the nicest campgrounds we've ever stayed at, and right in Zion. No showers, but showers at Zion Outfitters about a 10 min walk. Highly recommended.

Campsites were relatively spacious. Bathrooms clean. The only demerit would be this crazy policy that no personal hygiene occur within the park. Bathrooms are for elimination only. Showers are available outside the park. Still, the campground is hella nice. I’ll be back.

The site was clean, spacious, comfortable, and convenient.. The Rangers were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The views and experiences were amazing. I wish other campers were more conscious of their trash, I did notice some garbage on the ground occassionally. I do not believe that there showers in the campground. That would be an added bonus considering it's usually very hot in Zion. My overall experience there was amazing, and I'd recommend Watchmen Campground to everyone.

The campground was neat and well maintained. The camp hosts were good. The campground is conveniently located to walking distance to the shuttles. The shuttle bus lines were very long in the morning so plan ahead.

Excellent campground. Close to shuttles. No hammocks allowed FYI. Sites which doesn’t have shade gets hot in noon but you don’t have to worry if you have a canopy.

This is definitely a well kept campground. The tent spots all have fire pits and pinic tables, bathrooms aren't too far apart, and they also have dumpsters for your trash. I don't like how close together the spots are but that is personal preference. Very close to the shuttle pick up so you can catch a bus out to the trailheads. Also saw some deer meandering through the campground! All in all a good trip.

I really enjoyed this campground! You're not going to get solitude, that's not really what this site is about but it was so nice to walk across the bridge to grab a drink at the brewery, return my narrows equipment at zion outfitters and grab a bag of chips at the store! The bathrooms were clean (and warm!) and the site itself was adequate. Overall, I had a great time here and March is the perfect time to go. I would NOT want to be here in the summer - there must be no respite from the heat!
