We camped in Watchman CG over the New Years holiday. The campground was quite full and was fairly quiet, however there were several revelers who were noisy late into the night. We would have liked to have a ranger swing by at night to help keep the noise down. We hiked the narrows and it was a great experience, we were thankful that the buses were running at frequent intervals because the national park was extremely crowded.

Watchman campground in Zion National Park is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in our 40 years of camping. Not only that, it was convenient to the tram that traverses the park and handy to town for needed provisions

Perfect Spot, Clean, between the shuttle and visitors center its a great location. Beautiful also.

The campground spaces are large and you have additional separation between sites. You also cant beat the location as its immediately inside the west entrance of the park, and adjacent to National Park Visitor Center, Zion Canyon Village, and the small/quaint town of Springdale. Most importantly, the scenery surrounding the campground is awesome, and you have easy access to trails and scenic cycling routes.

What a gorgeous campground. The site was great, clean facilities, and friendly park staff. Would happily stay here again!

Nice fairly level spacious sites. Clean restrooms. We enjoyed the campground! Close to the visitor center and the buses that take you throughout the park. The only unfortunate thing was that the ranger programs at the amphitheater were finished for the season.

We had a great time at the Watchman Campground. The facilities were just right and very close and the shuttle was excellent. What a wonderful place to be and helpful to be in the park and able to start our hikes very early in the morning or stay out later in the evening.

This campground has a great location but it is noisy. Our arrival day there was a band playing Doors covers for hours right across the river.The next night was quieter but still music. Lots of people seem to not know how to use car alarms which went off frequently. I would stay there again but with much lower expectations.

Great views from the campground. We did not use the facilities but campground was clean and well kept. There was a nice path to walk to the visitor center to catch the busses. Only negative comment I can post is that the person doing the campground check-in was not the most pleasant or helpful person, maybe a bad day?

Great hikes out of Watchman. However, choose your site carefully. River sites dont actually have a River view and look out at the backs of several private lodges and a concrete contractors vehicle yard. Other sites look out at the main visitors center parking lots. None of this is visible in the online site photos.

All went well with our stay at the watchman campground. It was very hot so having electricity to operate our AC in our rv was a plus. We were fortunate enough to be able to pull our rv in forwards to block the sun and sit in the shade. I don't think all sites have that advantage. Eventually the temps cooled down and we could back in and sit with a gorgeous view of the mountains as originally planned. I had wished we could have had firewood delivered as we don't have a towvehicleand the walkm was a little long from the store. Otherwise 100% satisfied and hope to return again.

An amazing experience! We stayed in B-loop. The bathrooms were well-tended. The spacing between campers was average, our neighbors were all really friendly so we didn't mind it at all. The beauty surrounding the campsite was just breathtaking. Our little ones (ages 5 and 6) felt safe riding their bikes and visiting the creek next to our site. The walk to the Visitor Center was very convenient. Springdale was <5min drive and their showers (Zion Outfitters) were open until 11p if I remember correctly. The Watchman staff were welcoming. Our family of 4 loved every bit. Would recommend and hope to return.

We stayed in four sites in the B section in the last week. We greatly appreciated that there are no generators allowed in any of the loops which makes the campground much quieter. Unfortunately there is no control over barking dogs, which several days/evenings was very loud. Reporting this to the campground staff yielded no action.he sites vary greatly with respect to shade.
