Rangers were nice and helpful at check in. We did the yosemite shuffle and had no issues in the process of switching sites. Found a nice secluded spot by the river and hung out nearly all day. Site 85 was a bit slanted but lots of tree coverage for shade/hammocks. 92 was a bit bigger and more flat but only 2 trees so lots of sun and heat. Didn't really matter though, the river is right across the way! Bathrooms were cleaned daily and always stocked. Can't wait to be back!

Decently spaced out. Clean roads and friendly rangers. Bathrooms are very very clean and instructions for the bear locker were thorough. Additionally, if you really need access to your devices, the cell service there is near-perfect.

Unfortunately we did not make it, however I know we would have had a great time!

Great location 40 min from Curry Village, the campground is in really good condition, there is running water in the bathrooms and toilet. The campground itself is very good, there is a river that goes through the campground which is a huge plus. A lot of shaded area

I prefer Wawona to the camping circus that is Yosemite Valley. The sites are more generous. And it is within manageable distances of Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove. However, this is still Yosemite so your campsite will be adjacent to all kinds. This includes the group of 20 somethings that feel obligated to blast their awful music until 11:30PM. It also includes the guy who decided to bring three dogs instead of the permitted one dog. Bring your ear plugs and your patience and you should have an ok time.

A friendly, quiet campsite. I liked that it was all tents and trailers, and no generators making loud noises at night. A bit far from the valley, but not necessarily a bad thing because it is a lot quieter. Bathrooms were clean with flush toilets and drinking water was widely available.
