So nice! We HAVE Bern in loop C whichbhas such a great possibility to go for a swim in the Rover.Would always prefer Wawona over the Valley campgrounds

The Wawona campground is clean and has a river passing alongside it. There are no showers and if you're wondering why it says "Don't wash your dishes here" it means that's also where they clean the bathroom mops. No hookups but generators are allowed. People respected the quiet hours and overall it was a good experience boondocking for our first time. Hike the Chilnualna Falls nearby. It's epic and you don't even need to drive into the valley.

location a dream. Generators a nightmare. Completely incomprehensible that they are still allowed in this nature. Spoil you noise pollution the evening.

Very clean campground. Rangers were very attentive. However a few generators were used at off hours. We will be back in October

Campgrounds were clean and snow free. Unfortunately the potable water was not safe due to plumbing repairs ongoing. The bathrooms were closed and portable toilets and washing stations were in place. No potable water available. Otherwise the camping was enjoyable.

We reserved a few sites there. The first site at 52, loop c was pretty nice and it was kind of next to the river. The 2nd site was 67, loop c and it was not as nice as 52 and it was more crowded surrounding us. However, we had a wonderful time. I realized that there were many empty camp sites available, but the website stated otherwise. The camp ground is about 45mins away from the valley.

Park rangers and volunteers were very friendly and informative. Helped us to decide on day trips and things to see and do outside the park as well. Very quiet and peaceful as the only campers this year in self contained RV's so the crowds did not exist as they do in other camps within the park.

We had a blast at wowana. Great natural water slide and bridge hangout a short distance away! Super friendly staff!
