Amazing campground by the river. It was close enough to a convenience store and had well-maintained restrooms at the campground. Had a wonderful time there and would love to go again!

Wawona Campground was good. We were right next to the Merced River. The problem we encountered at our Yosemite stay was twofold; Horsetail Falls barely had any water in it which made seeing Firefall next to impossible & after taking the shuttle back to our parking spot we had an hours drive in the dark on unfamiliar roads. Last year in our attempt to see Firefall we entered the park in a long line only to be turned back around because of a rock fall. Maybe its not meant to be?

The park rangers were extremely rude. It wasnt too clear were to park and we parked on the other side and they called us stupid. Would not stay here again.

Great camp spot for a small RV and convenient for seeing the beautiful sites in Yosemite.

Very friendly park rangers. Site is quite and about 45 minutes drive to valley. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a bit quite camping environment compared to the busy camps within Yosemite valley.

Well, while it's good that they keep Wawona campground open to visitors, they decided to close ALL the bathrooms in the campground. Ironically, they put up a couple of portable toilets for "employee only", i.e. for themselves. So they do understand the importance of the bathrooms, they just choosed to not bother cleaning them, screw these visitors.Stay away from Wawona until the management changed. Go to Pines instead, you won't be dissapointed.
