It was very sad to miss learning more about Yosemite at the history center near Wawona campground. We were told it was closed due to theft and vandalism.

Pretty close to Yosemite but 35B is not a good place to stay due to slope and not enough space for a car. There are no showers here.

We had a nice stay at Wawona CG, the site worked for our needs. One negative comment would be regarding the guy across from us in 36. He burned a fire morning and night. With high temps in the 90's it made no sense why he had to have a fire. The smoke just hung in the air since there was no wind to speak of. He used a stove to cook his meals so having a fire was an obsession. How about making some fire restrictions?
