I rarely stay at NPS campgrounds & unfortunately this experience will only reinforce that. We arrived to a site with garbage scattered about as well as a little end table left from a previous camper. The fire ring had no less than 4 inches of ash in it, making it difficult to enjoy a fire. No showers & no dishwashing station. Our site was close to the river, which was nice, but beware the highway is up the hill directly behind the site. Overall, for $36 a night, I expect better conditions.

This is our first time camping and wawona is one gem in the Yosemite. It is secluded from Yosemite valley and Merced River flows near by the campground. We enjoyed our stay there and spent more time near river. Only thing is they don't have showers but it is a great place for camping.

Great place for camp, campsites arent too close to each other like others, river close by. I didnt like that park rangers were not there and people checked in 1:30am while everyone were sleep and started setting up their tents and being very loud and disrespectful to people.

This campground is very clean and well laid out and there are lots of private camp sites to choose from. Great experience
