is was right in to the nature and very calm. The rangers have been very nice. Thank you for the wonderful place

Campground was awesome. A bit disappointed to learn that only one section was open. No wonder it was very difficult to book the sites. The generator hours do not make any sense. Forces me to run my generator unnecessarily due to being limited to certain hours. 7 am seems a bit early. Most people are still sleeping but that is one of the only times I can run my generator, I felt bad for some of the nearby campers. I only needed to run the generator to recharge the batteries in my RV. The ranger was very friendly and helpful. She was awesome. She gave me advice concerning the roads and the weather. It was February and I was afraid of snow on the roads but it did not snow when we were there. The sites are very unlevel. Would recommend this campground.

Site #18Great location in cg with partial shade. Great views, nice site, clean bathrooms, and friendly host. Would def stay again. Took the Yart bus into town from the Wawona store which made traveling back and forth simple

Large site with gravel pad for RV. Large enough to fit our 25’ Motorhome and Jeep with room to spare. It is on a slope and we were unable to be fully level, even using all our stacking blocks but it was still a very nice camp spot.

Just beautiful to be by the South Fork of the Merced River, it was flowing so fast and the sound of it soothed our sleep. We had mixed feelings about the camp host. The day we arrived a camper in a neighboring site said he couldn’t get his site for two nights so he would be moving into our site the following day. He asked our permission to pitch his tent quite close to us so he wouldn’t have to move it. We understood this and said it would be no problem. The camp host was diligent enough to stop by and double check that was all right with us and make sure we gave our permission. We appreciated her concern. But as we were leaving the campground and driving through the gate the next day she said “Did you clean your campsite?” Of course we did! We thought that was rude to talk to us as if we were little children and assume the worst. It left us with a bad feeling about our camping experience. And she had two piercings in her nose!

Loved camping here. The river beside the campsite made for a few good hours of relaxation. We were close to the entrance of the park and could easily run into town and grab anything we needed. It is a bit of a drive into yosemite but so worth it!

Very nice campground with helpful Rangers. Unfortunately, the rangers aren't around after 5 so at 7 when generator hours were over there were 2 motorhomes that kept theirs running. One never shut it off until sometime after 8 and the other my husband asked him at 7:30 to please turn it off. He said he was surprised it bothered anybody,
