Good location, near the Mariposa Grove and other sequoias trees. There is a nice river next to the campground where you can go swimming. Nice experience on general :)

Wawona was grrreat!!! We were disappointed that we couldn't get a spot in the Valley, but Wawona was about a 25-minute drive and offered VERY pleasant camping experience next to a Merced River fork that was clear and jumpable. Our family had a blast, and even biked around the entire campground for added adventure! This is equally, if not better, location for exploring the Glacier point ridge.

The campsites were a bit close in Loop A, but it was really nice being close to the river!

Really nice Campground at the river in yosemite. Campgrounds have tables, a big bear locker and a fire pit. 40 min drive to the valley. Only toilets are available and only one toilet has light at night. Dumpstation, water and a small supermarket are in wawona 1 min away.

The spot is pretty spacious, has a fire pit with barbecue grill and a bear proof food box. There are clean restrooms (with showers) on the premises. We all loved it and had a great time. Highly recommend.

Wawona Campground in July was great for what it was. We didn't spend any time on site as it was too hot. We took a trip to Yosemite Valley, did our thing and returned back to the site only to sleep. The river next to the campground was also quite majestic, made sleep way better.Took a dip in the river in the morning, and left the site by 10am.

wonderful quiet campground, lots of space, big bear boxes, flush toilets, leverlers required for nearly all sites
