Everything about this trip was wonderful. The views were absolutely stunning, and the weather couldnt have been more perfect. It truly made for an unforgettable experience.

Nice campsite (06) with some spotty TMobile service. Close to the shuttle, many trailheads and curry village. Relatively level spot. Campground is very crowded and gets smokey when the campfires start at 5pm. Close to the river with lots of swimming and tubing opportunities.

Upper Pines was a great location! Walking distance to Curry Village, river right across the way, relatively quiet campsite.

Nice campsite, no crowds to speak of due to freezing temps and lack of snow.

Upper Pines has always been the place to stay Yosemite. Quiet and peaceful. No roadway with cars going by, tree canopy protects from sun and rain. Its also the perfect location in the valley with great views.

Campsite was clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean. Camp hosts were phenomenal! Camp was a little noisy and a little bright for me sometimes. If you are a light sleeper, ear plugs might help. Can't wait to return!

So very satisfied with my experience at this campground. In the nighttime, you can look up and see so many stars and also hear what sounds like an avalanche from the mountains right behind the campground. Such a sight to see and hear.

Walking distance to so much in the valley. Nothing like sleeping directly under the granite cliffs.

It was very good to see Yosemite during winter. The cool temperatures were not a problem for our hiking ... we still just wore T-shirts.

We were there in February in a tent. There was snow and rain. Bring a shovel, dry firewood, and an easy-up to stay nice and dry. Snow shoeing was amazing and fun. Mirror lake and the meadows were a lot of fun! We did not see any bears but we did see a couple of coyotes. Bring chairs if you tent camp because the tables can get wet due to the moisture in the air. Have fun!!

Upper Pines is an ok campground when it comes to National Park campgrounds. Biggest improvement that Yosemite NPS needs to make are renovations to the bathrooms in the campgrounds. They are quite foul on all accounts.

Campground was in excellent condition when our group of 3 arrived. Bathrooms were close by, and clean. Bear-safe trash receptacles were also conveniently located to our campground. Rangers were extremely helpful and very nice in going over do's and dont's of the campgrounds, and pointing out good hiking trails. They definitely made our experience a positive one.
