Just returned from an incredible 4-day stay at Upper Pines Campground and I'm already planning my next trip back! This campground truly exceeded all my expectations.Location & Views: The setting is absolutely breathtaking - you're right in the heart of Yosemite Valley with stunning views of Half Dome and the surrounding granite cliffs. Waking up to those iconic formations every morning was pure magic. The campground puts you within walking distance of so many trailheads and Valley attractions.Campsite Quality: Our site (#239) was spacious and well-maintained with a perfect balance of shade and sun. The picnic table was solid, fire ring was clean, and we had plenty of room for our two tents. The sites feel private despite being in a developed campground, thanks to the natural vegetation barriers.Facilities: Restrooms were consistently clean and well-stocked throughout our stay. The bear boxes are huge and easily accommodated all our food and toiletries. Water spigots were conveniently located and the garbage/recycling stations were always tidy.Staff & Management: The camp hosts were friendly and helpful, offering great local recommendations. Park rangers were visible and approachable. The reservation system worked smoothly and check-in was efficient.Only Minor Note: As expected, it can get busy during peak season, but the natural beauty and amazing location more than make up for the crowds. Book early - this place fills up fast for good reason!Upper Pines delivered the quintessential Yosemite camping experience. Can't wait to return and explore more of this incredible park. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in Yosemite's natural wonders!

Good campsite, very close to curry village. I have no complaints.

Good campground, plenty of bathrooms and filtered water, they really pack people in the campground. Showers are at curry village. A mile down the road, 5$ a shower. This is the campground to stay if you want to be walking distance to the half dome trail head. Any spot is good, but the most ideal spot is site 110-111.

We enjoyed our campsite in Upper Pines Campground. The restroom was clean.

Yosemite is so beautiful, well organized and well maintained. Regular patrols and visits from rangers made us feel safe. The facilities for kitchen water disposal were helpful. Unfortunately the daily cleanings of the toilet facilities were necessary as people would leave messes all over the bathrooms.

Campground is well situated and very affordable. Restrooms are functional but really out of date.

Great location. Creek in the back with running water. Quiet spot. Neighbors are not too close by.
